Swimming wasn't exactly something that Eyphah was all that good at. Why bother to swim when he had wings that would carry him wherever he wanted to go after all, but now that he found himself starring at the ocean he realized that maybe learning to swim was something he should have considered. How else was he supposed to get his claws on a Peisio dragon after all save for maybe circling around over head all day, waiting until one of them finally broke the surface. It seemed like something that would take a while... not really something that he wanted to waste his time on, but at the same time maybe it would be the best idea? Unlike Tallulah, who was a Merkein, Eyphah didn't possess a set of gills and if he was going to get some of the Peisio Orbs for himself then he was really going to have to try anything and everything possible. He just hated doing things that were boring was all.
Giving a sound that was much like a grumble he decided that nothing would come of him starring at the water all day. If he wanted to have any sort of luck he was going to have to take to the sky, fly around, and hope for the best. While relying on luck wasn't how he wanted to spend his day either sure it would be better then just waiting for one of the Peisio dragons to throw itself onto the shore in front of him, right? He wasn't anywhere near that lucky he thought to himself as he pushed up into the air, flapping his strong wings, and set to flying out over the open water. It would be difficult to distinguish one blue from another from too high up, meaning he'd have to instead stay at a lower altitude. It wasn't the safest thing to do, the Peisio could very well lunge out of the water after him after all, but it was about the only option that he felt that he had at this moment. Bah, they were so annoying he thought to himself as he continued to fly along, his glowing eyes scanning the surface, trying to find what it was that he was looking for.
It was just as he'd thought that it would be though, it was slow going and it was terribly boring. He much preferred the battles against the land dwelling dragons since it was so much easier to attack them. A shame that the Peisio wanted to make it all that much more difficult for him. They should just know better, know that he was going to defeat them, and just cough up their orbs. It would be easier on everyone all around he thought before his eyes seemed to alight, spotting the very thing that he was looking for, that being the Peisio Dragons. There were... two of them it looked like but for the moment he meant to focus on just one. That way at least he would be able to get a feel for how fighting them would be he thought to himself before he started to fly higher, gaining some altitude, before he let himself drop, diving into the water, and crashed down onto one of the unsuspecting dragon.
The water seemed to churn for a time as the two of them clashed, the waves filling with blood, before Eyphah came lunging out of the water when the help of the second Peisio that was trying to eat him. He was able to push off it's back, take to the air, and fly as fast as he could away from the grouchy dragon with the first one's orb in his mouth. Not as graceful as he'd like but still better then could be expected for his first try at this breed of dragon.
