[ Gaia Terms of Service ]
Let's start out with the obvious: Follow the Gaia TOS. This rule is a staple in practically every roleplay and guild in Gaia. If you don't know what the Gaia TOS entails or you need a refresher course, feel free to [CLICK HERE] and look through it. However, I feel like its content is pretty self-explanitory. This rule is, by far, the most important. If you are caught breaking anything mentioned in the TOS even once, you are out. No warnings, no strikes. It's that serious.

[ Characters and Post Content ]
No Mary-sues/Perfect Characters. You MUST make it clear that there is some kind of flaw in your character. Failing to do so can lead to misunderstandings, and of course none of us want that! No God-modding. God-modding, for those of you who don't know, is when a person gives their charcter the ability to do anything, kill anything, or they simply cannot be harmed by any means. This is unfair to other roleplayers and is definitely not permitted. God-modding can also refer to killing or injuring a character without the player's permission, as well as controling a character other than your own in your post. For example, if your character is Sam and you are talking to Chris, you cannot have Chris move or say anything that Chris did not post unless you are given that players permission to do so. As for auto-hitting, we will have a dice system to prevent this. However, if you choose to simply PVP someone and have discussed it with your opponent beforehand [What will happen and how it will turn out, etc], you may disregard the dice system and spar. This is where the "No Auto-hitting" comes in to play. Keep your stats in mind when fighting in this way and be realistic. Of course, when sparring, if you would like to collaborate with your opponent and get together to discuss the battle and make combined posts, that is fine as well. If you would like to do something like this but don't know how to go about it, let me know and I can assist.

                                              [ Posting Requirements ]
You are expected to post as often as possible (At least twice a week. If you are waiting for someone to post and they don't within four days, move on.). If you happen to go away on vacation or something similar, please let myself or Misuzu Kagamine know ahead of time so we don't boot you from the Guild. Also, please make your posts look nice. If you are having trouble coding a post format for guilds, let me know. I do charge a price but don't worry, I don't charge much. All posts must include a nice sized picture [Not tiny but not HUGE, either.] Please don't stretch the page. All posts also must have the characters names as well as their stats and a small section with their inventory in a 'spoiler' box. I will put the codes for these in the Handbook thread that you can use. You can also use it as a guideline if you want to make one of your own. Also, NO BLINDING COLORS! If we can barely see if, we will let you know. If someone has a problem with your format, please change it and don't argue.

                                              [ Literacy Requirements ]
Grammar is a must. Everyone makes typos and mistakes, so read over your post before submitting or fix it the moment you notice the mistake. We need at least TWO decent paragraphs (That is at least 10 really good sentences, excluding dialogue). If you happen to post lower than the normal two paragraphs multiple times without a GOOD REASON, there's a chance that you might not be kept. Of course, don't feel like you should be limited to only two paragraphs. I, for one, like longer posts. I am looking for meaningful posts with correct grammar and spelling. I don't want to see things like: "Paul got mad at Nancy. Paul walked away. Nancy cried." Please... for all that is holy... Don't do that. I like description -- please use it. Also, I don't want to see run-on sentences. Please use punctuation. Without it, we get sentences like: "Hi I am Tina and my best friend is Diana we like partying and bowling and taking long romantic walks to the fridge do you like hotdogs we do too." ... Sentences like these are the fastest way to make me swing my ban hammer. I'm not saying you have to be an expert. Sticking with periods and commas is fine; no need to feel pressured to break out the semi-colons. Just do your best and I'm sure it will be fine.

                                              [ Romance and Violence ]
Romance and Violence are both encouraged! However, please keep it PG16-ish. Nothing too showy/revealing or graphic and when it comes to pictures or descriptions. You must keep in mind that others like to read roleplays such as ours and if they happened to be REALLY young, well that would just be embarrassing if they read our sexy/awesome-ness. If it gets to 'the point of no return', please time-skip it. This way, no one is offended, no one gets banned, and we don't get shut down! Everyone wins!

                                              [ Character Profiles ]
Don't lie, I know this is the real reason you're here. Profile Skeletons can be found in the 'Profile' subforum of the guild. Once you have completed your profile, please send it to me in a PM for approval. DO NOT post it until it has been approved! Once it has been approved, you will need to post it in it's OWN thread in the Profile Subforum. The title of this thread should be your characters name. The first post in your thread should be an introduction of some sort. Please also let us know how often you will be able to post and, if you have some sort of family emergency or need to go on hiatus (vacation or whatnot) and you have informed either Misuzu or I, please also place this information in the first post of your characters thread. The second post will be your characters completed profile. The third post will be your characters Equipment and Inventory. Please keep this as up-to-date as possible! Don't forget about it! If you want to add any other posts, such as your posting format or even a journal/diary, you are free to do so.

                                              [ Stats and Equipment ]
You will be expected to keep track of your own stats and equipment. This will be done on the bottom of your posts as well as in your profile threads. If you are caught cheating (i.e. - Altering your stats, fudging your numbers, creating armor without getting consent from either myself or Misuzu, etc), you will receive a warning and be asked to correct it in EVERY POST you had it marked incorrectly. In other words -- Just don't do it. More on Stats and Equipment will be posted in the 'Handbook' thread.

                                              [ Keep in Mind ]
As things change in the guild, so might these rules. We reserve the right to be able to change/alter/update these rules as we see fit. Also, if you have any problems, questions, complaints, or concerns, please bring these to either myself or Misuzu. This includes any disputes you may have with your fellow roleplayers. We are the word of the law around here and inability to follow our rules will result in the deletion of your character as well as your expulsion from our guild. We do have a 'Three Strike' policy but we also have the ability to kick before your third strike, depending on the offense that has been committed. Please remember to respect us, as well as your fellow roleplayers and, of course, have fun!
