Cora leans against her jeep just as she finish placing the last of her LARPing gear into the back of it. Her eyes glancing towards the park for a brief moment. Tonight had been pretty much the same, and she really didn't have much to do sadly. She didn't quite understand what was going on, but her group just didn't seem to be into actually playing as of late. Could it be the fact that school started up again, and everyone was just too busy? Shaking her head, she pulls out her phone, dialing up Mathias as she moves to the front of her car.
"This is Mathias, leave me a message and I will..."
She frowns as she rolls her eyes, once again he was busy. She couldn't be mad at him, she just missed him that was all "Hey Mathias, its be Cora-Bug. I was wondering if I could come over...?" she stops only when she heard a crash come from the park. Arching a brow, she pushed away from the jeep as she moves towards the park.
Another crash, and a few birds scattered from the trees.
Taking a small step back, she licks her suddenly dry lips "Look whoever you are, I'm on the phone with the police! You have about five seconds to get out of here." she was trying to keep the fear out of her voice as she scans the area, not at all seeing anything.Lithia_Brandon If you would like to control the youma or myself, I am good either way.

Camelot was on his usual patrol when he heard someone yelling. At him? He did not think so, he was being pretty quiet despite the usually jingling chain mail he wore. He padded toward the sound anyway, though most normal people might not want to get closer to someone possibly threatening to call the cops on them. In his line of work, though, it was something he heard enough to not feel too bad about. No one really understood the difference between a Nega, Youma, or Knight, and to them it was all something to call the cops about. Camelot just did his job, saved people, and got the hell out of there.
The youma came tearing toward the civilian, though, before Camelot had reached the area. He was moving quickly but the monster was faster and closer, growling at the human and focused on its usual task of sustaining itself. That was all youma knew. And of course, attacking unsuspecting people in the park was a big part of that routine.

Cora eyes went wide, unable to move at first as she saw the youma coming right at her. It was the strange clanking of metal that snapped her out of her fear that caused her to dive roll to the side. Turning, she glance back towards the youma and the strange man dress like something out of her LARP game.
Only thing is, that thing was real. She heard about them thanks to her father being a cop "HEY! Watch out!!" getting to one knee, she place her hand down on what felt like silk. Blinking, she looks down only to find a parasol sitting next to her. It was glowing a faint purple as she picks it up.
Blinding light of purple envelopes her the moment her fingers encircle the parasol. Where Cora had been, now kneel a newly awaken Amenthes, a page of Saturn.
Steel blue eyes widen as she looks down at herself, trying to figure out if this was a dream. Her hand held tightly to the parasol as she looks up, a grin forming as she looks towards the youma "Hey ugly! Still feel like snacking?"
Slowly she stood and charges towards the youma, swinging the close parasol right at its face.

Camelot paused in his tracks when he saw the light of a transformation, and blinked in wonder at who would power up in so open a spot. It took him a moment to realize the Page aura he was feeling was brand new, and his brain caught up to him to put together what had happened.
There was still a youma to worry about, though, so he would have to introduce himself to her in a moment.
And then the Page was running toward the youma and he had to react in double time. He charged after her, faster due to his rank and probably because of his age. He was very glad that his injury from his powered down life did not hinder him here, as he could not afford to be limping into battle. He charged but the youma got there first. It slammed into her in a sprawling tackle, with enough force to knock her backwards.
Into Camelot, who was not anticipating that, either. He had never had the wind knocked out of him in quite this way before, but it turned out to be just as much fun as any other solid hit to the gut was.

Amenthes was hit hard, rolling backwards only to smack hard into Camelot. Feeling the air leave her lungs, she rolls tot he side before she coughs a few times. She been hit like that before, but not to the point where she felt like she was going to be sick. Getting to all fours, she coughs a few more times before she looks towards Camelot "Hey! Are you okay?" she forgot about the youma for a moment as she checks on the other gentleman for a brief moment.
Turning her eyes back towards the youma, she swallows before she looks back to him "So do you know how to kill this youma? Or are we screwed?" she was really hoping that this armor clad man was one of those powered up being her father always talked about.
If he wasn't, then she was gonna get him and herself out of here. And just hope the youma decided not to follow.

Camelot was lightly dazed, but he was mostly in one piece. Maybe a few bruises from his own armor, but he was getting rather used to that and they generally healed up before he had anything to worry about.
"I'm fine, just be careful," he said, moving to put his arm around her protectively. He tugged her to him, keeping his large shield in front of her. It was a good idea, too, as the youma had not forgotten about them and was leaping at them. It slammed into his shield and he braced himself, holding her behind it, thankful that he was on the taller side and the shield was so massive.
His arm did shake a bit, though.
"We just have to hit it until it turns to dust, I'm afraid. That's the only way to stop a youma. I don't suppose you've got a good physical weapon with you?" His shield would do, but it was hard to fight and defend at the same time.

Amenthes frowns, finding that was the answer she didn't want to hear at all. Keeping slightly hidden in his embrace and under the shield, she chews on her lip. What could she honestly do at this moment? She was so confused, and almost to the point she was near panic. Shaking her head, she snaps out of it when he asked about a weapon.
Tightening her grip on the parasol, she lifts it then nods "Think I could do some form of damage with this?" she had to at least give it a try right? Turning her eyes back on the youma, she nods to Camelot "I'll try to distract it, so you can get a better shot at this." with that, she was out of his embrace and lunging at the youma.
Grabbing the parasol like it was a bat, she swung upwards as hard as she could towards the youma's face. If that didn't get its attention, she didn't know what else she could do.

Camelot looked down at her when he could, looking at the parasol and nodding his head. He knew that first stage weapons would break after a few hits, most of the time, but at least this one had something solid to it rather than a flower or something equally useless.
He would make sure she was safe, and he would help her as well.
"Alright," he said. Though he had a powerful parental instinct in him, he knew that he had to trust in the strength of other senshi and knights and he could not baby them as much as he wanted to. He trusted her to run out and be able to distract the youma.
The youma's head snapped back as it was smacked with the parasol, and it snarled at her angrily in response. It was not too happy with being hit, and Camelot moved at the cue. He used his shield to slam into the youma a few short moments after the parasol, and that hit was much heavier. The youma burst into dust.
Camelot breathed a sigh of relief.
"Good show."

Amenthes drops to the ground the moment the youma vanished, a sigh of relief washed over her as she tries to breathe. Looking down at the ground, she shakes her head before she looks up at the man before her "This is actually real, I'm one of those magical beings my dad talks about?" she was trying to actually grasp the concept, abut was failing to do so.
She was just Cora, and normal girl.
This had to be a joke, her adoptive father's stories were just that. Looking down and her attire, she knew this wasn't the case, this was very real. that youma was very real. This wasn't one of her LARP games.
No matter how much she wished it was at the moment.

Camelot moved to stoop beside the newly awakened young woman. He knew that it could be jarring, suddenly powering up, especially as it always happened in the middle of an already scary situation, usually involving a monster of some sort. He smiled at her gently, warm understanding in his soothing green gaze.
"You are. You are what is called a knight, just awakened. You are a Page, and based on the symbol on your outfit, I'd say you're a Page of Saturn. I am a Knight of Earth. I'm just like you."
Except a male, and older, and a stronger power level. But at their roots, they were all knights, and that made them a team, a family of sorts. It was his duty to help her, to protect her, and to make sure she was okay. It wasn't the most glamorous job out there, but it was what he subscribed to, and what he was dedicated to. He was a knight, and he chose to serve others like him.
"I know it's a lot to take in, but you're okay. I can explain anything you need me to, and I'll help you as much as I can." He offered her his hand, to help her back to her feet.

Taking his hand, she stood slowly. Brushing off her white pants, she looks over the symbols on her attire then to him. Page of Saturn, Knight of Earth, none of it made sense..
And yet...
"Amenthes...." she pauses as she looks up at him. She didn't have a clue where it came from, but it sounded right "Amenthes, Page of Saturn." trying to take it all in, she looks back down at the parasol she was still holding between her fingers "So are the senshi real as well?" she turns her eyes back towards the gentleman before her "Please tell me that the rumors are not true like that one man says. That senshi are nothing but vigilantes causing problems." she hates watching that man, as he always made a mess of everything he spoke about.

Camelot smiled when she remembered her name, nodding his head. Amenthes. He would remember that, as he tried to do with everyone he met, so he could check in on her some time and make sure she was doing alright. He was going to be more proactive about that, about being a source of information and a method for training advice for new and even experienced knights.
His life had caught up with him a bit too much recently, with his new baby and everything he had learned about his family and his two lives. But he was going to make sure it didn't overwhelm him.
"Senshi are protectors of the White Moon, as we are. They work on the same team as knights like us, so to speak, against Chaos. Chaos fuels the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror, and Chaos is what gives the Senshi a bad name. Senshi are good people, and they don't want to cause problems. They want to protect lives, and this planet. Don't pay attention to what people on the tv say, they have no idea what the truth is. You'll find out directly, by experiencing it."

Amenthes was so glad to hear that the rumors were just that, rumors. Pushing a glove hand through her hair, she glance around for a moment "So why now? I mean, all of a sudden I am a knight?" she looks up at knight before her, a tad confused "Why didn't this happen sooner?" she arched a brow as she found herself curious by his last statement.
Not bothering to question it, she crossed her arms as she carefully holds the parasol in one hand "So, do we do strange things like the senshi? And please tell me this parasol just for looks. This isn't really what I have to use to fight." if she had to, she had a feeling she was gonna be in alot of trouble.
She could fight, but having something to help defend would be nice.
The parasol...
She knew was not gonna help when she really needed it.

"You're awakened when you are ready for it, and when the power inside you is needed. Everyone has the potential to be awakened, but most of the time they do not reach that moment of need, or that depth of potential. It's a careful balance of both, as I have discovered, but I can only go off of what I've seen and experienced. Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to awaken other knights ourselves."
Purify them from the Negaverse, yes, but not awaken them from civilians.
He smiled at her warmly, offering her a kind and knowing look, understanding her hesitance to want to use her item. But as it happened, hers was one of the better ones he had seen. At least she could hit someone with it if she had to, and it had the capacity to confuse and distract.
"Your item is what ties you to the magic inside you. It's a parasol now, but as you grow in power, it will become something more, and you'll be able to channel your magic through it. For now, though, it is the only thing you have... and I know how frustrating it can be to start with something that doesn't seem useful. It will help you, though, to defend against Chaos and protect those that need it."
He was more than happy to explain anything that she needed him to explain, and answer her questions to the best of his ability.
