Tallulah gave a soft sigh to himself as he looked around the area that he had decided that he was going to be doing his hunting,. The territory he choose was at the edge of Eowyn where he could see the golden sands to one side and the deep blue ocean to the other. This was the sort of place that he enjoyed since it was nice and warm but he could swim as well if he wanted. It was a beautiful sort of place but at the same time he found it to be a little bit on the lonely side. He had been left to fight on his own for a time, a week the Diabi had said, due to Eyphah wanting to go and see about hunting some opponents of his own. While Tallulah was used to doing so he had to admit that he rather missed battling with Eyphah. The fight against the large group of Firani had been so exciting, not to mention a lot more interesting then just battling on his own. He supposed that this was what he needed to do until the Diabi returned from his own personal hunts and then maybe the two of them could try hunting together again which would be fun in his mind.
Shaking his head to clear the fog of loneliness the Merkein continued to trot forward, sniffing at the air, looking for foot prints, and otherwise trying to seek out some dragons to hunt. He wanted to find them, attack, and try to gather orbs. After all it seemed that he and the Diabi were both seeking orbs, as well as the power that went with them, and he couldn't let himself fall any further behind then he already was. Eyphah was so strong and he had so many orbs! If he wanted to keep up with the bar that the other had set then he was going to have to push himself hard, hunt down the various dragons of Eowyn, and show that he had what it took to become a Merkeinian! He knew that Eyphah had a lot of faith in him, why else would the Drakein push him so hard after all, and he meant to continue to impress the Diabi as much as he could! The best way to do that was victories he told himself, perking up when he caught the scent of the Kiandri. It had been ages since he'd run into one of them, not since he had first come out of the ocean and Eyphah had saved him one of them, and here was his chance to get one of them for himself!
All but purring now he crouched down low, slipped forward across the damp sand of the beach, toward the scent. As he got closer he spotted not one, but two Kiandri but he decided that the best thing to do was to focus on one of them at a time so as not to get overwhelmed. He'd take one of them on, do his best to finish it off, and then he would see about going after the other one. His charge was a swift one, with Tallulah calling up aid from the salty water of the nearby ocean, entangling one of the Kiandri. With it caught in the grasp of the water he lunged, grabbing hold of it's through in his jaws, and a short time later it was crumbling away into dust leaving behind it's pretty orb. As for the second one... it would seem as though having the very ocean rise up to attack had caused that one to flee. No matter though, he'd take the victory where he could, celebrate it, and then continue to hunt for more dragons!
