I feel like I need advice but at the same time I don't think i need it right now. So I am going to write a new story. I want to do a simple story, just to dip my fott back in the writing waters.
So last night I was looking up spice names for girls randomly and I saw this name Cassia and thought it was so cute! Then I thought of a middle name LaRose. Cassia LaRose and I thought DAMN! I wanna write a story with the main character having that name! Though the more I say it the more it sounds like one whole name. Ugh! I love it so much! sounds like something my sister would like too. I should text her and get her opinion.
But anyways I want to do something new yet simple as far as my writing style and the....plot, setting and what not goes. Because I normally write pathetic high school love stories and all of them are unfinished. I need to write something more adult I mean I'm twenty one dammit! Ugh!
And I have been reading some books and I would like to try a new point of view. I normally write in first person, but I want to write this one in third person......past tense. Yeah present tense sucks! I read a book online that was first person present tense and it was just........you would want to throw that book on the ground and set it on fire. Thank goodness it is getting professionally edited ebcause it was self published too. But I'll save that for another topic.
Anyways so let me see......all I know is that I do want it to be a romance, but an adult romance. She is going to be.......twenty three living with a roommate. That is all i have so far. I don't know if I want her family to be living, want her to have a family issues or what. I'm still trying to figure that out. Or maybe she'll have a dark past but it sounds boring just because of the books I have been reading, the parents are always dead. Car crash. Out of the six books I have, three of them the parents died in a car accident.
I think maybe her family will be alive and she will be estranged from. Actually that works.....yeah I'll go with that.....
I'll work out the rest of the details later and then come up with a tittle.
...got it memorized?
