After the run in with the trio of Firani it took him a bit of time before he found some more of the dragons that he was trying to hunt down. It seemed to be a different group of them this time, something that annoyed him greatly since he wanted to finish off the one that he had earlier attacked. It seemed as though he wouldn't be as lucky as that though, would he? Nope, he would just have to make due with what he did have, this pair of Firani, and try to make the best of a bad situation. At least one that was bad in his eyes, how he hated to leave things, battles especially, unfinished. Knowing that somewhere in Eowyn was a dragon that had Eyphah's marks upon its hide was something that grated on the Diabi like nothing else. Even the potential battle before him wasn't something that he could look forward to as much due to that one simple fact. No matter though, he couldn't let it get him down when he knew that there was other potential prey out there. He just had to make sure that he found that one at some point in the future and finished it off was all! For the moment though he would try to chase these ones and take their orbs instead.
Eyphah reminded himself that this time that he was going to be attempting the 'ambush' method of hunting since just charging on in had netted him a whole lot of nothing the last time around. He couldn't allow that to happen again, not wanting to come up short because he wasn't quiet enough. Pressing closer to the hot sand he started to creep forward, teeth barred, as he moved toward them. Each of his steps was careful and precise, not wanting to make any noise or alert the Firani to the fact that he was here. He wanted to actually figure out this whole 'ambushing' thing and figure out if it was even worth the time and effort involved. D seemed to think that it was but Eyphah had his doubts, finding the whole idea to be a rather boring one. He much preferred to charge ahead and just destroy his prey... but that wasn't working at the moment, was it? It seemed that the dragons were warning each other about him, telling one another to keep an eye out for him, and it was something that pissed him off to no end. He should be able to enjoy his hunts, not worry about the fact that the dragons were off gossiping about him like a bunch of female two-legs!
The moment that he felt he was close enough the Diabi put on a burst of speed, throwing himself at the nearest Firani... and landed in a heap face first in the sand as the dragons launched themselves into the air. Snarling he lifted his head to look up at them, spitting out sand as he did so, then watched as they circled around over head for a moment, "Cowards!" He spat out, his anger rising, before he pushed off the ground to chase after them through the sky. Combat in the sky was something all together new and different from him, not to mention a lot harder then ground combat, but it did seem fun and exciting! He was never happier then this moment, having fun dive bombing them, slashing them with his claws when and where he could, and otherwise harassing them. It didn't take long for him to start to tire though and as he started to slow down the slashed up Firani were quick to retreat. Another failure but at least this time it had been less boring... now, to try again!
