Piper was bored. This was very dangerous normally.
She was not one to sit still when feeling idle, and thus she had thrown herself into the first productive idea that came to mind other than, well, homework: and that was minipet taming. Unfortunately, they were not of the same mind today.
"COME BACK, JUSTIN TIMBERWOLF," Piper yelled as the poms squawked and fluttered up a tree. "This isn't the time to be funny! I need you as a back up!" She'd been working on a dance number for her next self-recorded music video and needed someone else to help her out, obviously.
The minipet's feathers poofed in defiance.
"B-But I'll get you treats if you do . . ."

Draven had, as usual, been wandering around minding his own darn business. (He was really good at that.) It was hard to miss the ghoul yelling. Not because she was bright or had all that hair, but because of the yelling. Which seemed to be focused on a tree. Draven found that slightly odd. As far as he knew, the trees in this area were not sentient. Curiosity caused him to edge a little closer, albeit a tiny bit warily. Ahh. Treats, he thought to himself with a bit of relief. Treats meant-- Yep. Draven found himself in a position where he could actually see the minipet that the ghoul was having words with. He chuckled. "Have a disagreement, the two of you?" His eyes went from the ghoul to her pet. Ol-j-man xD It's wonderful~ /dusts Draven off

...Oh Jack, someone had heard her shouting. Piper gave her minipet a nasty look that said he was totally in trouble, mister before turning to meet the guy whose curiosity she'd piqued.
"Oh nah, this is totally normal of him," she said airily, though with a long-suffering look. "That's what happens when you deal with star players: they start to whine and get demand-y and next thing you know, they want to climb trees and not come down!"
The poms avian glared down at them both, wings shifting. The newcomer would see that the source of the let's discomfort came with the number of little ribbons tied in its fur, as well as the sparkling sweater it was sporting. Justin Timberwolf was not amused.
"I don't guess you'd mind helping me get him down?" Piper asked with a perfectly hesitant tone if she did say so herself (she'd been practicing her acting skills, for there was nothing like a triple threat!).

Yes. That was one very disgruntled minipet. You could see it in the way he moved, or rather, sat there, slightly more fancy than most pets Draven had seen. The raven mocker had to admit he understood the little guy. Not that it stopped him from grinning. The whole sight was rather amusing. "Stars and their wishes," he sighed, trying to sound understanding through his smile. His look turned a bit more serious as she asked if he might help her. He couldn't just laugh at the pair and say no. The was rude, and not like him at all. No, Draven was the friendly sort, and was ever willing to help a damsel in distress even if it meant a certain sweatered pom might hate him for it. "I suppose I could try to help," he said, nodding. "Does he bite?" Not that it mattered. He was already moving toward the tree. He intended to half-flap and half climb his way up the thing.

She had to admire the initiative he had without knowing the risks. "You could call him weirdly catty, for a bird thing," Piper replied, hiding her snicker behind a hand so she could keep playing at the relieved damsel part. Excellent, now she didn't have to worry about being scratched herself! "Thanks, by the way, you're being a real hero. And be careful..."
Justin scowled as the boil climbed towards him, fur bristling and wings shifting. As he neared, the minipet began a higher pitched sort of growl that...really did sound like a cat's warning noise. Maybe he had an undiscovered mimicking talent? A paw lifted, ready to bat the boil away with tiny claws.
GrnGriff You can roll 1d6! If even, Draven nabs him~ If 1, Justin actually did bite instead of batting at him.
