Warmest greetings in the blessed name of Jesus!

When we look around the world at the various religious organizations and the wordly attempt to paint each sect or denomination as a valid path to heaven, it is wise to understand that the worship of some of those supposed paths of enlightenment are simply empty promises based on some men wanting to create God in their image.

We have learned as Christians that our salvation points to Jesus as the Christ, or anointed of God, who was born to die on the cross of Calvary and who bore our sins for you and me. The one time Pharisee of the Pharisees, the apostle Paul, wrote these words.
(See Romans 1:16a) 'For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;

Most of us will study the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, and do our best to share with others, so we may share the Good News that Jesus lives and is our advocate before the throne of God.
We will investigate the historical facts that; (1) Jesus drank the cup of sin.
He who was without sin, became sin for us on the cross of Calvary. (2) Jesus was interred in a borrowed tomb that was sealed to prevent anyone from stealing or removing His body. Armed guards secured that sealed tomb. (3) Women, who came to anoint the body of Jesus on the first day of the week, found the tomb empty.
While the tombs of other religious leaders contain rotting bones, the borrowed tomb of Joseph of Arimathea stands empty.
Our Savior and Lord is alive and awaiting us within the portals of glory.

When we open the Bible to assure all who seek Jesus as Savior and Lord, and show them that He has built each of us a mansion in heaven and that all we have to do is let the historical facts of His life, death and resurrection be translated into faith, hope, and assurance.

Does everybody need to know Christ as personal savior and Lord?
Let's read what Paul wrote in his letter to the church at Rome.
Romans 3:10, and 3:23-25.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one:
(This was a passage taken from Psalm 14.)

Let's look at verses 23-25 of Romans ch.3.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbaearance of God;

Paul met Jesus, face to face, on the road to Damascus several years after Calvary, and he was convinced that Jesus IS the Messiah and is willing to save and sanctify all who come to Him by faith.

May God teach each of us to believe what the prophets and disciples wrote about Him.
May He draw us closer and closer to His perfect will and purpose each and every day.
May we find the assurance, hope and joy that He has secured for us.

Your brother in Christ Jesus,
Philip - The Hawk

A very well presented look at what not only the Holy Bible gives us an account of but what other countries historical documents describe as well.

Did you know that the apostle Paul met Christ Jesus some four to seven years after Jesus had died on the cross and was resurrected and ascended into heaven?

It is true.
That is also Biblical history as well as Roman history that Paul met Christ Jesus on the road to Damascus.
All that happened in Christ Jesus life and death and resurrection from the grave and ascention as well as the day of Penticost all happened when and while Paul, was studiing at the feet of Gamaliel the Head teacher of Pharisees.
So Paul was aware of Christ Jesus, but was never one of the original desciples picked by Jesus.
Do some research of your own by reading the book of :Acts, in your Holy Bible.

Your brother in the Lord,
TSK - Sir Aaron D.

So true, brother. Paul knew very well Yahushua (Jesus) was there. In fact, there are several passages that Paul admits not only knowing of His existence, but ordering and participating in the persecution (and sometimes demise) of Yahusuah and His followers. Including his approval of Stephan's execution. (see the Book of Acts, around ch. 6-8 for the story). It was after that, on his way to Damascus, that the Master came to him and his entourage. This not only sets the scene for Yahushua's forgiveness and compassion, but show's how the impossible is possible with the Father's grace and Will as He turned a known assassin into one of His most avid suporters. It also shows the integrity of those who follow the Messiah that follow through with the journey of the Roman's Road, or their Walk with our Messiah. And when you start to relate it to the past scriptures in the Torah/Old Testament, this only compounds the meaning behind the covenant with the Father, His Son's existence and purpose, and our roll in the assembly/church.
So cool... praise Yah...
Thank you, brother. May the Father continue to bless you and guide you in your studies as you share them with us.
