A large stone fort close to the gate of town. Housing all guards and supplies them with weapons and armors. The area covered in attack dummies. Two offices holding the Martial office and the Mages office.

"Yes! Just come in!" yelled Captain Watson's voice. He was currently immersed in a large stack of paperwork, filing fines, guard needs, and such. He was in an irritable mood from a combination of lack of sleep and his underling's rambings. His office was surprisingly neat, except for the many charts and maps around the walls detailing every nook and cranny in Arun.

Watson looked up from his paperwork to see Sherlock enter. He sighed and set his curren paperwork aside to listen to what he had to say this time. "The ones that are over run?" he asked. Watson set his quill down on the table. "Hm, that would make sense... The old mine is the purpose they're doing this in the first place, so it would make sense to have their base nearby. To keep their eye on their prize, and to make a quick escape. They'd have to hassle with the captives less too, since The monsters would make long travels difficult." he said. "Did your witnesses say anything else?"

"Children? That could easily be possible if magic is involved, they might not even be children at all..." the last part was what really startled him, and nearly caused him to drop the bottle of ink in his other hand. "That's insane!" he set the bottle down and began scribbling a note maddly with his quill. He wasn't someone to waste time. "Though after what you said last time, it can easily be possible... We tested the potion used on the first victims in the potion factory, and found it to be an extremelly dangerous sleeping potion. Which is illegal here in Arun, but is rare since its main ingredient is on the other end of the world... We'll need to launch a 1st rate alert in the kingdom." he said. The captain finished his note and tossed it into the air, the note was enveloped in magic and disappeared to be sent to its recipitent. He then began scribbling another note. "Did they give any clues to when?"

"It could be possible... there's nothing else of value in that mine." he said, tossing the second note in the air for it to disappear. "Well that should take care of that, I hope you were right otherwise I might have just lost my job." he said. Watson stood and grabbed his sword on its sheath and swung it over his back. "We need to depart immediately, lets go." he said, walkingnout the room as he headed to gather a few squads.

He didn't falter a step. "The ringmaster? That would help. Go ahead, but you need to be quick about it. We'll meet you at the moutains. There are extra horses in the stalls, just take one." he said.
