Unprepared and under-trained and overconfident and all sorts of things could be have been used to describe at about ten minutes ago. Now that he actually went through with his idea, it was probably best to say that he was scared and running like his butt was on fire.
Any other senshi would have never guessed that the kid was, infact, a Super Senshi, not just a newbie. All of the recent training sessions and talks with other senshi had given him an unbelievable confidence boost. That, factored in with having seen hardly any Negaversers, created a peace inside of Avior, unseen since encountering Bischofite and his terror attacks uptop the Destiny City Rooftops. And tonight was a night that was not to be lost to him! It was time for some good not-so-old fashioned youma hunting, and he felt that the lake on the far side of the park was a perfect place to do so. Even if there were no youmas to fight tonight, he could still go out and about to fish after retrieving the hidden fishing gear he had not too far away. There were absolutely no downsides to this plan!
What he didn't account for was that the youma he would face today would be water-bound. and that his walls would be useless in such a situation. Perhaps, if this were another world.. Another place, it would be much more majestic, much like killer whales in the ocean. The beast certainly was a lovely thing, but it could not be left alive. Not if it were to start preying on the swimmers who would come here, squeezing the last bits of summer for all it was worth.
If he were to get into the water... where would he even raise his wall? What could be done about it? But before he could further consider the best way to defeat such a beast, a clawed appendage seemed to grow up the water's edge in the darkness, reaching tout to grab the boy who was running along the shore. Though he kicked and flailed, grasping at whatever he could to keep him from going under, there was hardly anything to keep him from heading towards the water depths. That being said, his struggles DID manage to pull the beast out of the water! Didn't mean he could honestly do anything about it!
"H-HELP!!!" He shouted, making as much as he could, hissing back at the monster that grabbed him, and clawing at the hand that held him. Even a Civilian could be helpful at this point! If not.. Perhaps it was time for a trip to Davy Jones Locker.

Sailor Hypnos was doing what she did most nights, hunting the youma in the city. Her style of hunting was a lot different than most senshi but it was a style that she had grown accustomed to during her time using it. It was simple enough, using a net to assist her with her work. She didn't want to hurt the youma exactly but extract them from areas they could hurt people. Not many senshi agreed with it but Hypnos couldn't simply throw away her beliefs that youma had a right to live too. However, she didn't want them to live off starseeds and that meant she had to study them to find an alternative.
Energy seemed to be a popular second but meeting Bazzite changed the game a bit for her. She'd never really met a youma that could talk and being able to hear and understand their thoughts, although often upsetting, had only made her belief that they had a right to live stronger. However, it also made her caution with them stronger too. Bazzite had not wanted to eat energy and direly wanted to eat her starseed, even threatening to go after other people if she would not give hers up. It had been horrifying and frankly she wondered if youma could be helped. How did you help people who didn't want help? It was for their benefit as much as it was for her own. If they didn't attack people then no one would hunt them anymore, right? She just wanted everyone to be able to live.
It was a pretty quiet night this evening though. Hypnos wandered around with her senses on high alert for any chaotic signatures but she hadn't found any. It was an order signature that caught her attention first, followed by the rotting sense of chaos. It worried her because she knew that when the two factions gathered it was not usually peaceful.
Following her senses, Hypnos found herself lakeside. She wasn't a very strong swimmer but she couldn't run away and pretend she didn't see a youma conquering a senshi, or his pleas for help. She could do this. This wasn't any different than fighting a youma on the street, and it wasn't any different from the swamp monsters that attacked at camp several summers ago. She had made it out then and she would make it out now but before she ran in head first she recalled the swimming lessons Lissy had taught her... just in case.
"I'm coming! Hold on!" The child called out to him.
"Grab this," she plead, throwing her net toward him.

"Okay, I'm grabbing, but make sure you're stable! I don't want to pull you in too!" There was some things that being so small came in handy for, and this situation was definitely one of them! Using his grasp on the net as leverage, he twisted himself onto his back, giving the appendage a hammer kick on what felt like bone. That seemed to do the trick, and the beast hissed, or bubbled at him as it released him from it's grasp. With this momentary freedom, Avior quickly ran to his feet, taking the girl's hand and pulling her further back from the water's edge.
"Thank you so much, princess!" He could have hugged the girl before him, but he didn't want to get her pretty white dress all dirty. He was soaking wet and covered in mud.
"I think you might want to step back though! This thing is HUGE!" And it was popping out of the water again, gazing hungrily at the pair of senshi on the shore.
"I take it you're a senshi too! I mean, not to make any assumptions, but I don't know how brave other's would be if they saw me in such a situation. you're simply amazing! And I could praise you all night, but.. what should we do about such a thing like this..?"

Sailor Hypnos might not have been the strongest girl out there but being an eternal senshi definitely helped her out quite a bit. The real kicker here was gravity. It took a lot of effort on her part but she managed to pull back with enough force that while he used the net as leverage, she not only kept her footing but also helped pull him out a bit.
She felt proud and that pride left a soft, timid smile on her face as Avior thanked her. However, her blue eyes were focused on something other than him. They followed the youma with a careful eye, taking a step back and then one forward again as she matched the movement of the youma. It was watching them and she was watching it but their train of thoughts ended there.
She didn't know how to deal with such a large youma. Her normal tactic might not work on it. She definitely wasn't going to be able to fit it into her net and even if she could there was no way she was going to be able to move it somewhere else. She let out an audible sigh and glanced to Sailor Avior with a worrisome frown. Simply leaving it here was out of the question but what was she going to do? Blue eyes plead with the world as she looked to the beast. Perhaps if they could get it out of the water...
"We need to get it out of the water." She stated flatly, all too aware of the fact she wasn't a very strong swimmer and that the water was where it was strongest. If it managed to pull either of them in under the surface of the water then it might drown them before they could manage to free themselves.

"Maybe.. We can fish it out.. Hold on one second." Avior knew there was a reason as to why he kept fishing gear around! After delving deeper into the woods, he felt around the base of a giant fallen tree, grabbing a rather large tackle box from underneath a pile of dirt and leaves. Clutching it to his chest, he ran back to Hypnos, panting, but smiling.
"I don't think we can really fish him out, per say, but maybe we can loop this around him." He opened his tackle box, and pulled out some thick fishing line, mainly used for deep-sea fishing, but he had it here, in his everyday tackle box because who knew when he'd get the random chance to to go ahead and head to the ocean once again!
"I could lure him out, making sure not to get caught by his hands again, and you can try to lasso him. Do you think you can do that? We won't have to put all of our strength into it if we tie the other end to the tree right there." Avior pointed to a large, thick tree, not too far from where they stood, though he glanced back at the monster. It's hands were out of the water, grasping at the air between them and itself. Luckily, it had not figured out it couldn't reach them yet, and remained there, clawing at the ground every now and then as if considering coming out of the safety of the lake.
"What attacks do you have? Anything that could help? I can summon walls, invisible walls, but I don't think that will help too much in this situations."

Everything about the plan seemed like a good idea until Avior suggested that he could lure it out and that she could lasso him. Sure, he probably could lure it out but it didn't seem very likely that she could lasso it. In addition, it was probably a better idea if she lured it out because she was faster than he was as a chibi senshi. In a race, there was no way he could keep up with her. Immediately she shook her head, stepping back and facing the other senshi.
"I will be the bait," she said with affirmation. She did this all the time. It was scary but much less than it had been years ago when she first awoke as a senshi and now she had a lot of experience running away from them. "I am quicker, it'll be harder for it to get me. Plus my aim isn't very good."
She smiled a bit, her mouth hanging open on her last word as she pondered his last question. "If I can't escape then if I can get close enough I can make it tired with my sleep dust. It'll be easier to subdue then too."

"Alright. I won't argue with you, since i know those wings mean something important, right? And after all, you already rescued me once. I can say that it's fair to trust your judgement." In the darkness, there was no real telling how old anyone was. But if she could save him, and be an Eternal senshi, she must be doing something right!
"Alrighty then. Just be careful, okay? I've had some training with getting traps set up. As soon as I get his hand, or maybe his neck, with the line, if he moves, it should tighten up around him. with the way line is, if he struggles too much, it could cut right through him, sending him back into the Negaverse space or what not the youma disappear into." As he spoke, he began to tie the snare knot in the end of the line. Having it still on the rod was a great advantage, with all the hours he spent fishing, his accuracy had become near perfect when casting out. As long as he got a clear shot.. He could get the beast!
"Ready when you are!"

Sailor Avior's acknowledgement of her buttwings definitely made her beam but she tried her best to stay serious and focused. She had a task to do and although in theory it was no different than what she normally did on a nighty basis it was to a much larger scale. She would have to be extra careful with the lake around there and her poor swimming abilities but she believed in herself!
"You too, okay?" She said softly. She knew that just because she was going to be the bait it didn't mean it couldn't still get him, and that worried her more than being the bait herself. Of course, there were other things concerning her. Her feet shuffled as Avior began tying a snare knot, her slippers slipping off feet in the process. She gathered them in her hands quickly, her net hanging over her arm. They would be useful, her little bunnies would fly. After all, that's what the wings on them were for, right?
"Ready!" She said clearly so he understood, her slipperless feet moving forward as she threw a slipper at the youma. It missed but the splash it made in the water caused the youma's head to turn to the direction and one of its arms to sink the slipper under.
A tender swallow of her throat, Hypnos tried not to dwell or else that fear that she dwelled on would become true. This time she threw the other slipper and it bonked the youma right in the side of the face, garnering the attention of the youma from the ripples on the lake back to Hypnos. She certainly didn't need to scream 'Come and get me' because the youma knew exactly what it wanted and it was running down the shore.

Her smile was so cute! This girl must have been the most adorable senshi he had ever met! And even if she was scared, she tried so hard to let it not be shown that Avior could not help but admire her further. She wasn't like him, no not at all! Most of the time, he would start freaking out, crying when he was scared (though he was trying very hard recently to fix that!).
"I will. I'll make sure that I'll get it on the first try!" He had to talk himself into the confidence he needed to feel for this to work. And if there was anything he had confidence in, it was his fishing skills. Countless hours on the water, on the shores meant that he had a near guaranteed chance too catch the thing!
Avior watched as Hypnos launched her slipper at the beast, and couldn't help but smile more. It was just.. Too cute! The little bunny flying through the air! But the reaction the second one received from the beast.. Not so cute. no, not at all, it was coming out of the water, and it came fast! As soon as it made it all the way out of the water, Avior cast his line out, watching it loop around the beast's huge hand, though the monster did not simply let him get away with it! It tugged back something fierce, causing the boy to stumble closer to the water.
"I-I'm going to need some help with this! Geesh, this thing is heavy!" Digging his heels into the earth, he slowly regained his footing, taking baby steps to loop the line around the tree. The youma struggled, seeming to try to roll over, just as alligators did when threatened. He tried his best to go around the tree, using it as a pulley, to give him a better method of moving the youma.
"Make sure you don't get caught by that roll! It's just like a gator!"

The water's surface moved suddenly as the youma did and soon a large wave was coming up over the shore as the youma made an attempt to roll like an alligator. The eternal chibi senshi let out a shriek as the wave came over her and her fear of being washed into the lake with the youma sunk into her skin. She was certain she was going to end up coming up for air in the middle of the lake but instead as the water washed away she was clinging to the ground only knee deep into the water.
She moved quicker than she ever thought she could as the fear propelled her into the grass. Once there, she found herself feeling a little more safe only to become trashed by the tail of the beast as it rolled again. It didn't hurt too much thanks to her rank as eternal senshi but it did knock her off her balance. From there, it took her a moment to get back to her feet and make it to Avior's side. By then her breath was harsh and deep.
"I'm," she said with a huff. "I'm okay. Let me help."
She wasn't sure how much help she would be but two people were better than one, right? She stood behind the other senshi because she stood taller and she grabbed on with a pull. If she realized that all this pulling was about to dust the youma she might not have been so eager to help but things were always complicated! How could she leave it in the water? With kids trying to soak up the last of summer, this beach would be filled until school started!

Avior could have screamed when he watched the water come up over the girl. He wanted to just drop the rod, rushing over to her side to make sure she was alright! But.. But there was no way he could let go of the line, not when it was the only thing keeping it from escaping! She would be alright, he knew it! She was strong.. Most likely far far stronger than he was himself!
"I'm so glad you are safe! I could just squeeze you right now, but, we need to pull! With a strong enough tug, it should dust immediately!" He took a moment to smile at their height difference, and at the fact that she was safe. With her help, he put everything he had into his efforts, watching the best swell up like a balloon twisted in two.
Taking a deep breath, he gave a sharp tug, throwing all of his weight onto the line, and with the sudden force, the youma split in too, dusting it in an instant, and sending the two falling backwards, Avior landing ontop of Hypnos.
"CRAP, I'M SORRY!!" He immediately rolled off her, crawling back over to her on his hands and knees. "Are you alright?!"

The time between the words escaping Avior's lips and the youma splitting into two was a split second, giving Hypnos little time to even process it. Her blue eyes watched as the youma split apart and immediately dusted as the line snapped with nothing holding it and caused the two of them to fly backwards with Avior on top of her.
"Ah..." she moaned out softly, shifting her weight to an upright position as soon as Avior rolled off of her.
"I believe so..." she replied, searching her body for anything in pain our out of place. "Are you?"
She looked at Avior with her icy blue eyes at first but soon they drifted toward the lake. The youma was gone but Hypnos couldn't help but feel a little sad over it. Maybe it was just trying to live in the lake, and tried to defend itself when Avior came by? It was unlikely but who was Hypnos to judge it. What she knew for sure was being split in two must have been painful even for a youma. It didn't seem fair, she didn't want to hurt anyone.

"I'm glad. No scratches or cuts that need tending to? I mean, not that I could to much about it, but Doesn't mean I won't be concerned. I'm just fine. My hands might be a bit bruised later, but gloves help alot with that." He offered a hand, to help her up, before following her gaze at the water.
"It's hard to believe that something that huge could be hiding in the water.. What if it were to attack a child during the day..? It's scary to think about, huh..? I mean, maybe not too scary if it were just a giant fish, but no, this thing had hands. It could so easily pull someone under.." He shuddered, his arms coming up to rub his shoulders in a feigning of seeking comfort.
"We met under such unfortunate circumstances.. We never got to introduce ourselves. I'm Avior, A super senshi. And you are?"

There were scratches and there were cuts, and tomorrow she would probably find several bruises, but she was fine. This was all things she was used to at this point. She accepted them and tried her best to avoid anything serious. Minor abrasions and bruises wouldn't last too long and they didn't hurt too much.
"I'm fine, thank you," she said softly, accepting his hand up off the ground.
Once up, Hypnos brushed the dirt off herself and rubbed her hands down the length of her fuku to get the creases out. It wasn't so hard to believe there were youma anywhere for Hypnos anymore. She might not even be super shocked if one day she went home and there was one there. After all, even school hadn't been safe. She went to school like normally and then the youma and Negaverse attacked. Nowhere was truly safe, except her asteroid.
Nothing was there, absolutely nothing.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Avior, my name is Hypnos. I am the senshi of sleep."

"Senshi of Sleep..? Sounds alot more powerful than the senshi of Walls. And it just seems to fit you too! Powerful, and it can be either cozy and safe feeling, or bring terror to those who hurt you." He smiled, reaching out to put a hand on her shoulder, giving it a little squeeze.
"Should I walk you home for now? I mean, yeah, I know that you're stronger than me and that's just so awesome, but I'd till like to know you got home safe. Or are you going to go back to.. Patrolling? Personally, I've had enough excitement for one night."
