I'm interested in:
Technically, she's Bi-sexual, but she has Heart, Mind, and Body only for her wife.
People say I'm:
A calm and pleasant person, she is nearly impossible to irritate. She has a very laid back personality, though, she is strong willed and holds her ground. She is polite and cordial, quick with a smile, and even quicker to attempt to draw one from those she talks with. Her resolve is unbreakable, but she speaks with a carefree attitude. One that perfectly suits her grace and composure. She is rather playful, yet manages to get things done ahead of schedule on a fairly regular basis. Even the most hostile and vehement of people will be greeted with composure, respect, and a playful smile.
But they don't know me:
Her ancestry goes back millenia. In ancient times, her family were keepers of the forest. There are many names others named them. Rangers, Druids, Shaman, Hunters, Guardians, and Leafan. The titles were unimportant. But their duty was divine and righteous. To defend nature from those who would destroy it simply for self-gain. It is recorded that, the Ancient Goddess Gaea made a pact with her family. They were so entrusted with the safety of her realm, that she took the founders and bound them to the spirits of Four Great Beasts. The Lion, representing Courage and Determination, The Bear, representing Strength and Fortitude, The Anaconda for Speed and Agility, and the Wolf for Loyalty and Cunning. These Beasts were tied to the lives of the Founders, ending as they did, and from then on, being born as they were. For millenia, her family has stood vigilant and held true to their sacred duty, performing the ritual at the birth of every member of the family.
She was born from one of the line of the wolf and as she was born, so too was her beast, manifesting as a great white wolf, larger than her family had seen in generations. And her beast grew to full size within the day to ensure her protection. She was trained in herbology and zoology since she was old enough to speak as was the custom. At her tenth year, she was trained to use the bow and to wield two swords. She excelled in her training. Taking to it better than those of her age around her. And the teachings of patience and mercy stuck with her, for her weapons of choice are not the blade and arrow, but words and action. She grew closer to her beast whom had revealed to her it’s name, Kyla. She and Kyla trained diligently for years. Finally, the day arose to test their training. An imp had been burning sections of forestry nearby, and she was assigned to defend the area. She quickly found the Imp and managed to get it’s attention. After a lengthy battle of dodging fireballs, she slew the fiend and tended the area back to life.
After many years of training and defending her home, the time came for her pilgrimage. It was a time for the members of their family to go out and see the world, locate areas where nature could use their aid, and to find a life partner. According to their family doctrine, gender is not important in a partner. Only that you somehow produce offspring of your line. She set out and explored many lands and many people. For fifty years she traveled before discovering a dying forest. In the ten years she stayed there, she became acquainted with a Dark Elf named, Ireth. The two connected easily and it was not long before they decided to marry. For eighty-five years, they continued travelling. Finally, they came across Silver Academy. They visited the area and Tira could see the danger that nature could suffer nearby with all the violent students with destructive powers. She knew that it was Gaea that led her here and she knew it was her duty to protect and mend nature here. After discussing it with her wife, she applied to become a councilor and was accepted. They have been working here for fifteen years now and she has indeed needed to tend to the areas around them to restore nature.
Nature Empathy:
She can commune with Plants and animals, even going as far as controlling them to some limited degree. (Plant can’t be moved more than they naturally would and Animals (Monster Races Excluded) cannot be forced to go against their natures, i.e. A rabbit cannot attack)
In addition to this, she is able to tap into the soothing magics of nature and imbue her voice with magic to cause a sort of calming effect. This last bit is a passive aspect and it does not guarantee success in anyway of calming someone.
Nature’s Dominion:
She can summon plants and control already present animals (Monster races excluded). The animals she controls are completely under control and can defy their natures, but they are limited to what the individual creature is physically capable of. The summoned plants are under her complete control. However, her level of control varies depending on how much she knows about that type of plant. This ability also consumes a fair level of energy and if she is forced to use it frequently, it quickly wears her down.
Huntress’s Companion:
Coming from a long line of forest guardians, her family had, long ago, made contracts with the spirits of the forests. These spirits agreed to bind an animal’s life to the life of each family member in her lineage. Each time a member of her family was born, so too was their guardian animal. Hers is a glorious white wolf of unusual size. This creature is so tightly bound to her, that, if she is in danger or calls for it, it can transverse the entire globe and appear at her side in an instant. (An ancient magic is used for this and it’s only purpose is to travel to her side.) This creature is tapped so deeply into the spirit of nature, that it can imitate a weaker version of Nature’s Dominion with the same restrictions and drawbacks. But these two are so closely linked, that they suffer the same levels of fatigue and the same pain from each other’s injuries. And their life forces are tied so closely, one cannot live without the other, and as such, she does not consider the wolf to be an outside source in her tournaments, simply an extension to herself.
