((Ushma was accepted ... long time ago. I haven't yet done her JRP / Challenge so getting that done))
Ushma was a rough and tumble lioness. She'd grown up a fighter ever since her youth. Rumors traveled to her, one fateful evening, of a pride of warriors off the water. Of course only the best of the best were allowed in. This seemed like an open invitation to Ushma. Was she not a good warrior? She wanted to put her limits to the test and prove to a pride of warriors she was worth their time.
Though in the beginning, these were only rumors she was going off of. Over her travels she'd hear more rumors from strangers she passed by on her way. Until she actually got more concrete evidence and the actual location.
The travel hadn't been an easy one but the lioness didn't like anything too easy. She was glad when her journey came to an end. The dark lioness approached the boarder in hopes of running in to a warrior worth her time.

 The white lion was proud of his new status as a Reaver. The viking itself hadn't been difficult, rather educational by forcing him to interact more closely with his fellow fighters. It was an acknowledgement of the skill he had gained in the time since he had first heard of the Myrsky Syntynyt. Indeed, Ensis had only gained entrance into the pride after his second challenge - a humbling occurrence that had only strengthened his desire. Strange to think of how many moons had passed since then. And now here he was on the border, taking a turn at patrolling. This was not only, or even mostly, to keep the pride safe, but to see if there were others out here who sought what he had, desiring to join the powerful pride. Soon enough he caught sight of a black shape with red markings. Only when he came near did Ensis see that the creature was in fact a lioness. Her attitude seemed to be confident, and he was reminded of his own first challenge, also against a lioness. "What do you seek here?" he called out to the stranger. He was fairly certain he already knew, but it was always best to be certain.

"I seek the strong," A rumble of a confident growl bellowed from her throat. Her eyes rested on the male for a short while before she spoke again.
"I assume you know what I mean," She crouched down in to a ready position and launched her self in the white males direction. Her claws shone as she swung for the males shoulder .

He was somewhat surprised to discover that the lioness did not even wish to discuss their impending duel before leaping into action. The black female was fast, he had to give her that much. However, he wanted to see what she was truly made of.
So the white lion stood still, allowing his opponent's claws to sink into his shoulder. Ensis then took a step back, removing his shoulder from the claws. As he moved, he brought his opposite forepaw into play, swiping at the lioness, knowing that his claws would come shy of her flesh.

To be fair Ushma had started the duel pretty cheaply. But true warriors were always on their toes and thats how you knew you were up against a warrior. The weak weren't prepared for being attacked but a true warrior was ready at the drop of a pin.
Ushma slid to the side as she finished her swipe. In her process she some how managed to miss the other lions own attack. But now , feeling quite cocky, Ushma charged only to clumsily fall on her face. She hadn't fully gotten her bearings when she landed from her earlier attack. Her footing had been quite off and caused her to tumble.
Not very warrior like.

In contrast, Ensis moved lightly, dodging the path of the female's attack. He wasn't expecting her to stumble and fall, however. It went against his grain to attack a fighter while she was down. However, such an unfortunate instance was fatal, and the white lion was inclined to point out this simple fact.
So he moved swiftly to her side, and tapped the black lioness on the back of the neck with one paw before taking another couple steps back again.
It amused him, to say the least.

It might have been a mistake to tap the lioness while she was down. Like any other cat on their side or back she grabbed for the white lions paw for a good rabbit kicking.

Her reactions were quick, the white lion had to admit it. His forepaw, the one attached to his injured shoulder, was snagged as he tried to retreat. The lion's mouth quirked in a small smile.
She was still on the ground, however, and he on his feet. It would be cruel to truly attack her while she was down. Instead, Ensis simply shook his forepaw, trying to pull it out of his opponent's grip.

The white lion pulled his paw away.
Quickly the female rolled to her belly and jolted back up. The fight was in neithers favor right now but Ushma hoped to change that. The lioness gave a mighty roar and started again for a charge, making sure that her footing was better. Her teeth gleamed as her jaw stretched opened. Ushma prepared to attack the lions shoulder yet again. If she could get the right angle she was sure she'd be able to knock him back.

Ensis had never been one to make unnecessary noise in combat. He'd rather be silent, and not give his opponent any idea what was coming for them. So the white lion was unsurprised when his opponent charged once more.
As before, the lion stood his ground and allowed his opponent's teeth to close on his injured shoulder. It was a good strategy on her part, targeting a preexisting injury that would therefore be more vulnurable to her.
But now she was quite close to him, and not moving anytime soon. The white lion hefted his opposite forepaw and brought it down heavily upon the lioness' head.

The paw connected with Ushma's head and sent her down to the ground pretty hard. It felt like several while she laid on the floor moments while in reality it must have been a few seconds at most. That one was going to leave her with a headache.
She was a tad disoriented from the knock to the head. But the lioness wasn't about to call this fight done yet. A little out of it, Ushma went to sweep the white males paws from under him with one of her paws.

He was a bit disappointed by the lack of originality and lack of speed the black lioness' next attack displayed. There wasn't much strength behind it, and so once more Ensis didn't bother dodging. He'd have a bruise from where her forepaw impacted his leg, but there wasn't enough power to knock him over.
It would be cruel to hit the lioness on the head again, and as skilled a fighter as she seemed to be, he didn't want to do lasting damage. However, she was fairly helpless.
So he'd do something that could be considered fairly insulting and hurt a lot, but wouldn't actually do much damage overall. Ensis walked around to the black lioness' tail, which he then proceeded to grab and yank as hard as he could.
It amused him.

While Ushma did not yell out in pain she squinted her eyes shut when her tail was pulled. It was not pleasant at all but she was not one to give the other fighter pleasure in her pain. But boy did tail pulling sting.
Ushma whipped around, pulling her tail free (probably would feel that later on even more with how fast she pulled her own tail from the white lions jaws) and pivoted to tap her paw to the white lions nose.
"Game?" She smiled and tilted her head.

Ensis was surprised with the speed the lioness displayed in ripping her tail from his grasp. As had been his custom in this combat, the white lion did not move, standing fast to take the blow.
Instead, it seemed that his disinterest in pounding the lioness to mulch was paying off, for she tapped him now the way he had done before, though hers was square on his now. A faint smile hovered on Ensis' lips.
"Certainly," he agreed. "Perhaps you'll be so kind as to follow me?" the lion asked, nodding his head in the direction of the Myrsky Syntynyt.

With a new founded respect for this white lion, the lioness dipped her head in a bow of respect smiling all the way.
"Yes please," She looked back up. "Its a pleasure to spare with a true warrior." Her smile widened. She had gotten in it would seem as she was allowed to cross the boarder now.
