"We will see if they are in first." Alva suggested, reaching out to knock on the door of the Valkyrie's room. Usually Sann would be nearby but she hadn't seen her all day, probably off frightening small children somewhere.
Isidore looked up at the door and nodded. He was feeling a little bit nervous, he hoped that his Auntie Echo wouldn't tell his parents anything that he had told her. He didn't want to ruin things for him and his sisters and in turn their father. He needed all the help he could get and Isidore would not be the one that was a hinderance. He breathed deeply and looked down at his shoes as he waited for the Valkyries to answer.

"Are you coming sometime this year, or what ?" Eir snorted, hands settled against her hips. They would keep going nowhere fast if they were not training, this much was certain.
"Must you always be so impatient ?" As for Hrist, well, she did not seem too bothered at all, continuing to shuffle her cards before the deck seemed mixed up to her liking. She would have proceeded to drawing until the door was knocked on. "Hm... ?" Strange. Their lord rarely bothered to knock. "Can you get that ?"
"Well, one of us has to." Still, she would turn around and get to it. "My lady." She would nod. "And my lord." No use overlooking Isidore, after all. "Can we help you ?"

Alva smiled as the door was opened. She still felt a little bit intimidated by the women, they seemed nice enough but still, she was not used to being treated like, well, a goddess. "Um, we were wondering if we might have a word."
Isidore nodded in agreement with her statement. "Yes, we have a plan to help my dad." he glanced around for a sign of any grown ups. "I want you to help us but you have to promise that you won't tell anyone." He said this quite seriously. He was going to be extra careful from now on.

"Certainly." Though Isidore looked quite serious. A plan to help his father ? Eir was now distracted from her hurry quite nicely. She would let the two of them inside and close the door behind them. She honestly doubted anyone would barge in.
"Who is it, Eir ?" Hrist had started pulling her cards, but stopped when she looked up. "Oh, are we needed for something ?"

"We're going to help dad." Isidore said once they were inside. "Me and Kyrie and Caelia. He can't do his job properly because he has to help too many people so we are going to help him. Whilst he is helping Nath we are going to try and get some spirits to come here so that we can show them to the underworld." He breathed in again and looked up at them. "Kyrie and Caelia have asked the birds to help the spirits, the spirits are going to follow them to the church near the town and we are going to hold a funeral for them. Then we need you to help us guide the spirits to a soul path." He really really hoped that they would agree to it. This was the pivitol part of their plan really.

My, my. That was a clever plan in itself, but how did they plan to control those who got out of hand ? There always were a few who did - not all of the dead were content with their fates, after all. Clearly they probably should keep an eye on this, else the three little terrors found themselves in more trouble than they could handle. Had her lady been stronger she could probably have handled this on her lonesome, but...
"I see..." The plan in itself certainly was not a bad one, if it got pulled as it should. Crows often did act as spiritual guides themselves, leading the souls toward the paths they needed to take. "What do you think ?" She looked at Eir. Was she thinking the same as she did ?
Well, that was certainly a bit dangerous, but if they said no, then likely they would try anyway, or try something even more dangerous, and Eir would not be able to forgive herself if something happened to them and she had been aware of it. Her glance crossed Hrist, and she knew the other valkyrie felt much the same. "We'll need to find a soul path first. Something closeby so we can get them there while they're relatively calm still."

Valyrmora watched the Valkyries and knew they had much the same thoughts on this plan as she did. Keep close to them and perhaps act as damage control. It had to be better than them trying to do it completely by themselves. Not that she could do much in her mortal state.
"The funeral will help calm them I hope. I've seen it happen with single spirits so if we have a big funeral I don't see why we can't do it with lots of spirits." It seemed perfectly logical to him, why couldn't it be so? And though they were children they were still gods, they had powers which was more than a host had. It seemed silly that they had to sit around and watch as everyone struggled around them. "I dont think there will be a big problem."

Oh, there were plenty of things that could go wrong, of course. Hrist knew this from experience. Just because Isidore could calm them did not mean they would remain calm long. "I can find one." She knew Eir still had difficulties with sensing them, and this was not something they could honestly take guesses on.
A lot of spirits was rough to handle for even them, honestly. It was obvious enough that Isidore was determined, and it seemed easier to go with the plan and be there if something happened than having to scramble to keep up without the children noticing. "When did you plan to do this ?" She asked.

Isidore smiled as they seemed to look as though they would help. He had been worried there for a moment. "Um soon, maybe later this week. We need to prepare the church and get everything ready. Spread the word too, it's important that there are a lot of people there for the funeral. I think the spirits would like that." He breathed deeply and looked up at the pair for them. "Will you be there? And you won't tell anyone."
Alva looked between the Valkyries and Isidore and was glad they were on board. She knew Val would not be able to do much if things got out of hand but together they might be able to make something work. "I will speak with Sann too, see if she will help us." She knew she would, the woman would do anything the goddess asked her to do, such was her loyalty.

Make sure there are many people attending but keep it was a secret, hn ? Of course, she knew what Isidore meant. She had been a child, once, too. That was code for don't tell the adults.
Ankou would be quite furious if anything happened to them. "We will. I will go ahead and scout us a path. Eir can help with making sure the church is to your liking, Isidore."
And there Hrist went deciding things for her again. She supposed old habits died hard, and Eir had to admit that this was the most effective way to tackle this. "What did you have in mind, just have it cleaned up ?" That should be simple enough.
"Better keep Nath out of this. He'll tell." Skuld was the one closest to their lord, perhaps had always been honestly. "Kara and Hildir... They have their hands full with the mir'eshu right now. We can handle this." She had heard some of it, and it did not sound pretty at all.

"Um yeah. Make it clean and I think we need some flowers and things, I've seen a few funerals and they like things like that. Pretty things and music but I don't think we have time to find some music so just make it nice." He shrugged and smiled again, still a little nervous. He could sense that they were not entirely in agreement with what he and his sisters were attempting to do.
"Eir, you can come with Isidore and I, we will meet Caelia and Kyrie there." Val took the reins from her host. "I'll get Sanngrigor to meet us there too, at the church." Hopefully three of them would be enough to stop things getting out of hand ... and if not, well she would have to come up with a back up plan of some kind. It really did suck being tied to a pathetic mortal body.

Hrist was gathering her cards and pulling them back into the pack again. It seemed like she would not have the time to proceed right now, after all.
"Very well." Eir nodded. "Right now, or later ?" She was eager to do something, rather than just having to wait for Hrist to decide to be ready to go on with her day.
Really, sometimes she was a little too connected to the spiritual. Or so Eir thought.

"Um right now?" Isidore said hopefully, he really wanted to make sure that they were prepared for what they were about to embark upon. "I said I would meet Kyrie at the church, we can make some plans and then go and find some things to help." It wouldn't be hard, there were plenty of pretty flowers and things sprouting up all over the place both within the Pantheon and in the surrounding areas.

That indeed did suit Eir just fine. It was not like she needed time to be ready - she had gotten that done quite easily while Hrist was dwadling around. "You will have to show me the way. I am not certain where St. Kore is." She was mostly familiar with the pantheon and the market.
"We can get flowers on the way, most likely."

"We will show you the way." Alva said, straightening up and smiling a little. "It's just past the market, at the edge of the cemetary and near the market." She looked down to the young god. "Are you ready Isidore?"
Isidore nodded. "Yep, come on let's go."
