So this was how it worked. He would come into the battlefield and immediately attack in hopes of a sneak attack. While he did manage a good hit in, the beast countered in time for a strong hit to his legs tripping him. "Tus od!" The hellhound rolled away quickly just as the tail came down. After having faced one of these things before, this one was hitting a lot more often than the last one... but his scythe was finding a good rhythm of attacks. Perhaps he was more focused on doing more damage than actually dodging the incoming attacks.
