Size: 15mm Tavast? He'd only just recalled him, the larger boy, dragon as it was, that often protected him. Yet he didn't know where he was. Merely that... he had to be somewhere?
Aki sighed, closing his eyes a moment as he found himself now whisked to a beautiful plain. Warm, white light flowing through as he walked along the path. He'd been directed to another task, another lock. But he wanted to find his friend, to see him again. Maybe he wasn't even in this world, but he was well, right?
He ears perked a bit as he caught the tone of music, playing quietly, in the background. It was wonderfully calming, cheerful as he lifted a hand to reach for one of the ever growing number of wisps near him. Lovely, it was downright lovely. He continued on, further down the path and halted only as he spotted silver trees now, dotting the way. Beautiful, but lacking anything upon their branches. How peculiar.
He moved further on, pausing only as he noticed on larger than the rest. He slowly moved closer, only halting again when it spoke. It's voice sweet, calming, speaking of the king, of a tale, and it's wish to serve. To fulfill a last desire? Was the tree going to die? He stared at it sadly, oddly out of place being so dark among all of the shimmering light, but still...
"Ahl hahlp." He stated lightly, a small smile on his face as he drew closer then. Listening.

Further forward he moved, bid by the tree to do so. Or perhaps the own silent voice he felt calling to him. He reached a lake, pausing in silence a moment before slowly leaning down near the edge. He could still hear it, the sweet voice deep in the waters. Slowly he leaned down, some apprehension about it he couldn't understand. He... did he not like water? He wasn't sure, but it wasn't so deep. He finally dunked his head under, holding his breath as he listened. Ah, he needed to water the trees? That was her desire? He lifted his head again at that point, inhaling a new fresh lungful of air as he blinked.
All of them?
Though it seemed not, as the orbs seemed to lead him along, he carefully cupped some of the water in his hands and allowed himself to move ushered to a particularly sad looking tree. Careful as he was, some water did spill from his hands, but most made it. He carefully let the water fall over the tree, watching as it shivered, seeming alive almost for a moment as the acorn fell, and then with it's final greeting it withered away...
How sad. Still, he carefully picked up the acorn at that point. At least this he could keep safe.

He was then guided back, slowly, toward the lake. Once more he had to go in the waters? He nodded slowly, understanding, and slowly making his way down, deeper into the waters. It was a bit scary, but he could do it. Deeper still until he could once more hear the voice, speaking to him calmly. Memories? It needed those? He nodded silently as he looked about at the bubbles. Odd versions of himself roaming about curiously. The nearest was particularly strange. His ears, tail... they were gone. Instead he wore a strange outfit. What... on earth was this?
Akakios sighed as he wiped a hand across his brow, looking up at the sun briefly before tugging his large brimmed hat back into place. Bandits. Again. They'd come through town while he was gone and the place was a mess. Sheriff or not, the man just didn't seem to be getting much done anymore.
And at the moment, it seemed neither was he.
He walked along, the click of the spurs at his heels his company as he moved from where he'd tied his horse toward the saloon. Perhaps he could get some details on it there, right it it. To stop it. The swinging doors moved aside easily as he headed in, giving the group at the table to his left a nod. Their gaze quickly fell back to the cards in their hands, noting he was harmless enough. Cowboy, lawless or not, he meant no harm to the common folk. He had better things to do with his time.
"Jes, what of it this time?" He stated, raising a brow as he moved forward, seating himself at the bar as he looked at the woman. Dark hair and the fact she was a healthy plump thing showed that, even through it all, the town prospered. They wouldn't be dying anytime soon anyway, even in this dessert. "Nothin' for you. Let the sheriff handle something for once." She stated, more concerned for his well being than the actual will to keep him out of trouble. His look, however, said he'd go digging regardless of if she liked it or not. So finally a sigh escaped her as she continued cleaning a mug with a rag. "Tis that Hunter group, led by that Cecil fellow. But they're long gone. Let it go." She added, pointing a finger at him.
She really did worry with all of his heroics. "Not a promise I can make." He stated, tapping at the counter a few times. He soon found a glass of water before him, offering a bit of a smile to her. Nice little thing, always looking out for everyone. "They headed off, they knew someone would be after them. Let it go." She stated again, trying to ward him off before turning to assist another patron. "Justice has to be served." He replied, taking a long drink from the glass before setting it back down and shifting to get up again. He offered her one last smile before lifting a hand to give a quick gesture of farewell. "Keep a cool one for me tonight." He offered before starting back out the door, his task obvious.
There were limits. You didn't come after his own.
Strange... peculiar. That didn't seem like him at all, so confident. Was he like that? He tilted his head at the dark bubble before moving slowly and starting toward the plant and dropping that memory for the tiny acorn. Then, seeing as it did little, he moved back for the lake.
Right, it needed more?

Fluffy was indeed one of the cutest little minipets of them all. A little cerberus... that didn't look much like one. He loved to frolic around, play, and try to avoid bullies. Because, while he went to a battle school, he wasn't the most strong. It was a bit sad, but he ended up picked on a lot. Not that he wanted to complain to his parents. They'd worked hard to get him there, so he had to try his hardest to succeed!
A firm nod was given as he pawed at the ground a bit, staring at the grass below his feet. If he worked hard it would be ok. He could do this! Or so he thought to himself as he looked over the cliff before him. Wings or not, heights too were scary... but he had to try. He stared down toward the base below the mountain, jagged and rocky as ever...
His wings tucked against him stubbornly, forcing him to edge back again. No... he really didn't want to. Being brave was harder than he'd thought, but... but if he gave up. They'd be sad, he had to do it for his family right? Tavast could fly, so could he, couldn't he? He swallowed thickly, inching forward again as his gold eyes surveyed the area. The weather wasn't so bad...
He took a deep breath at that point, inching toward the edge again, forcing his wings out of their clamped state. Just be calm. Tavast has told him if he remained calm and followed the exercises they'd learned it would be ok. He just to make the first jump. Do... or die? It sort of seemed that way. Regardless, he'd never get anywhere if he gave up. So with that in mind, he quickly leapt forward, the solid rocky ground below gone as he flailed a bit when gravity took over. Then out went those wings, catching the air as he glided somewhat smoothly a moment before he tried flapping. Ah- oh... this wasn't... so bad?
OH NO GRAVITY AGAIN! He flailed once more, forgetting that wings WERE meant to be flapped and extended as he fall quickly for a moment. Then once more caught himself and took to slowly gliding down.
Gliding was still flying, right?
And now, now he was a tiny small furry thing? He wasn't so sure. This at least, though, seemed more like himself. Lacking confidence and fumbling around... that was accurate enough. Well then...
He once more took the memory carefully to the tree, offering it up before turning to move back to the lake once more.
How many did it need?

Tears, exhaustion, pain...
Why did it have to be like this. He pulled his legs closer, listening to the sound of footsteps beyond the bar. The click and clang of a cage opening, steps, closing. The painful gasps of the figure now within it, injured from it's fight.
All of this was all he lived, all he knew. All he could look forward to. Wasn't it? He looked up, vision still foggy from the ragged sobs, begging for forgiveness he couldn't hope for. They wouldn't breath again, he'd been forced to take another life, desperation, a will to live causing it. He didn't want to die. He didn't. It was kill or be killed in there, but still... they'd only wanted to live as well.
He buried his head further against his legs, eyes closed again as he ignored what he'd seen. Blood still spilling against the dirty cotton used to wind up the heavy gash. That soul might live. Maybe. It was anyone's guess. Winning didn't mean life, it meant forgoing death another day. ...another day.
Ninety-eight. He'd done this for so many days, so many lives. If anything it made him a prized weapons, tool... whatever it was. He didn't have a name, he had a number. Ninety-eight. That was all his owner saw when he moved by, looking at the young boy who seemed merely a miracle. Small, but full of vigor and a will if nothing else. Even if all he did was sob at other moments. Why... why did it have to be that?
He didn't want to, but it would continue again... tomorrow. Tomorrow. Someone else would add their name to the list of reasons he could never be forgiven... could never move past it. Why did it have to be that way? Why was the world so cruel, so filled with the bodies of those deemed 'weaker?'
He never wanted any of it... ever...
The memory left bitter, hollow feeling in him as he took it. Carrying it carefully to the plant before letting it spill out over it. The thing seemed to be getting larger now... more healthy.
Why?

The tree now had leaves, small, delicate and blossoming. He knelt down, toying lightly with a twig, so gently and pleased with himself. Even if his other self wasn't... him. It was cute. He liked it. He'd done something really good, saving a tree. Though he heard it, another voice, calling him back. Giving it one last fond pat to a leaf he stood again, trailing back to where he'd been previously.
Only to find a new sparkling sight. A castle, so far he wondered if he could ever reach it. Though... the pools were lovely. Each a bit different. In general it was an amazing sight, such a magical silvery forest... he really wanted to show it to people. He peered between the pools as the voice spoke, curiously looking at them.
And then slowly, surely he moved over, carefully kneeling before one that he felt a gentle warmth from. Kindness, peace, serenity, and love. All the best things in life were warm, he wanted to share that with the tree, to let it know those feelings. So with that he carefully cupped some of the warm water in his hands and started for the tree.
And then, as he poured it over the tree it blossomed and came to life, wisps floating about it cheerily as he looked up at it. And then it spoke to him, happily. "Yeh." He replied, carefully pressing a palm against it's trunk. It was lovely, kind and would have many friends in the wisps. Wasn't that the best?
