Diana missed her mount from the last task but felt as if she had done the right thing. Following the wisp like spark of warm light that had separated from herself she headed forward. She found that everything around her took an almost surreal, enchanted air. Then she notices the thin mist covering the ground, most unlike the unforgiving fog from before. The sound of music, humming, and singing could be heard from somewhere in the background and it made her smile slightly as more of the wisp like sparks of light float around Diana, guiding her forward in a path.
Soon trees begin to appear in all directions around her, long silver trees, bare and empty. They all have the same look, thin with the same size and form. She keeps moving forward until she reaches a particularly large silver tree. It's branches, like the others, are also barren. The area is now quiet, and yet she feels almost like a warm heartbeat comes from within the tree. It felt sleepy however, tired.
"At last, at last, someone has arrived to hear my tale. It has been so long, I have been silence too long, taken and hidden, my power feared but not respected, cultivated until I am barren and empty. This is all that remains of my Legacy, but I am not finished, not yet. As long as my powers remain, my children will prosper after me. They will take up my mantle, to protect, to serve, to remember, and to grieve. Men like the Great King will rise again, and fall just as easily, but I only wish to serve. Come now. Help me fulfill my last desire."
Diana hears a feminine voice speak from the tree and she listens closely.

Diana walks from the tree until the forest clears and she finds herself at a lake. Light and lots of glowing orbs dance across the surface causing her to smile as they gave the lake the illusion of being made of pure white. In the distance she can see the silver trees peering out of the thin mist. Feeling drawn by the lake she walks to it's edge and hears a soft singing coming from it. She places her head into the water for a moment to hear the singing better and only hears the remorseful voice calling. "Heal my children, and when you do I will give you a gift of immeasurable value. That is my only wish and my only desire. Take these waters and carry them to my children." She pulls her head out of the water as the orbs begin to dance around her again as if helping to pull her from it. She slowly reaches into the water and scoops some into her hands. Holding carefully, as to not spill any, she walks slowly so as to not trip and not lose any of it. Guided back to the sickly tree by the spirit wisps around her she pours the water onto the tree. It seems to shiver a bit and then spawns a single acorn. Then as the acorn falls in front of her and she picks it up the entire tree shudders and withers with a small thank you. [ SIZE - 10 mm]

Diana follows the orbs as they guide her back to the lake again. Again she hears the lake humming and went to the edge to hear it's words once more. "My children need time to grow, to move on from my Grief. Help them create their own Legacy and feed them each unique memories." Looking into the water she sees shadowy forms in the water appear, then create large dark blue bubbles. Each one a memory, her memory. Not just any memory however, strange, unusual, foreign memories. She could tell that some clearly contain her, or what could be her, and some she doesn't even remember herself but seems to have her face on them. As she reaches closer to the water some pull towards her. [MEMORY SNIPPET 1] Diana stands off to one side of the area in her own cage as another fights. Her hair pulled back into a tight braid going down her back, her wings scarred, and she wears dark black, leather pants and corset over a black cotton blouse to hide the blood from her fights. Both are torn and have seen much better days and she wears no armor. She holds her weapon of choice close as she sharpens the blade of the scythe. A whip is hanging from the belt sits against her side as the sounds of battle and pain surround her. She was in this cage, her cage, waiting. Waiting for her turn to fight. She was a slave in a sense here. A slave to the Arena, a slave to the fights. She did not know anything past her desire to be free, the desire to kill that 99th person. Once she did that she would be free, or at least that is what they had been told and she had to have faith in that one so called truth. She knew tomorrow they would face him. He was the best so far, an she knew the fight would be long and hard.. She just hoped she would survive to see the outside, to have her taste of freedom from the Arena...

[MEMORY SNIPPET 2] Diana smiled as she logged into the game again. She had a row with her mother again but she could care less. It was not as if her grade in art was going to affect her chances of getting into college. Besides she much preferred her online life as Miss Lee, a rogue in the neutral faction of Halloween, the greatest MMO she had ever played or was created. Today was the day she finally took on the boss of the area. She had spending time all this month to level her rogue to a suitable level so that she wouldn't die and she was sure she had leveled enough. Smiling she led her character into the right area and started the long process of bringing down the beast. She just knew she was going to get a good haul of loot today...

[MEMORY SNIPPET 3] Diana sighs as she sits in an alcove staring out into the semi-ruined Halloween town. It had been only a couple of years since the horseman had taken over and yet they had not gotten far in their goal of ousting them. She was only a minor member of the resistance, and yet she felt as if she could do more. She was currently on guard duty. It was her job to make sure that they did not find this place before the meeting was over. She knew that the horsemen ruled the human world, knew that she and her fellows wanted the human world back the way it was. As her mind wandered she scanned the area. Then she stiffened as she spotted a group heading for them. Her eyes widened and she sounded the alarms before grabbing her weapon. Their resistance would not go down that easily.

[MEMORY SNIPPET 4] Diana walks into her school. It was early, too early for classes and yet here she was, a gym bag over her shoulder and in a hurry. It was swim practice this morning and the pale blond with red dyed streaks through her hair was one of her teams best swimmers. The swim meet was coming up and they had to get the gold if they wanted to go to finals. Diana hurried as fast as she dared and panted only slightly as she entered the changing rooms for the pool area of the private high school she attended. Changing quickly into her swimsuit she pulled her hair into a bun and pulled the swim cap over the mass of hair. Then she entered the room with the Olympic sized pool where the rest of the team was waiting for the coach to arrive. This was to be the last swim practice before the meet and Diana knew that the club she was in was nearly ready. They were going to smoke those girls, they were their biggest rivals when it came to swimming and Diana and the team had practiced extra hard to make sure those girls did Not win the gold.

[MEMORY SNIPPET 5] Private Eye Diana Maximillian entered the crime scene. It was only about thirty minutes after the call from the local 'police' and they could not figure out a single thing about it. From who the murderer was, to their motive, or even exactly how they killed the poor woman. Looking at the crime scene she could see why the 'police' had called her in. The whole place looked almost pristine. Pulling out her notebook she started jotting down what she saw. The woman who had lived here before her death must have been a neat freak or something because there was not even a finger smudge to the glass in the living room. Her wings mantled slightly as she walked into the kitchen however. The cauldron, while still on the fire, had been taken off the flames. Also there was a single cup of cold tea sitting at the table. However that wasn't what was odd about the scene. What was odd was the outline from where the dead body had been, halfway up the wall. It was pinned there with kitchen knives and from what she had been told the heavy set were-cat female seemed to heavy for almost anyone to have gotten up there and then kept her still to kill her with the knives. However the autopsy report said she had died from strangulation yet there was no proof as to how she was strangled. The whole thing just screamed strange..

Diana gave her new memories to the seed and smiled as it grew into a sapling. Giving over the last of them seemed to make the sapling delighted and Diana smiles as she gets a blessing as well as a small feeling of anticipation from the sapling. She knew it would not be long now.

Diana smiles as her sapling grew into a tree almost fully grown. It swayed a bit, delicate, but with it's own life.
"Not quite, take some of this water, and my blessing. This is my last request. Show my children your world so they will grow each unique and different."
Diana hears a voice whisper to her and she feels obliged to go back to the lake where she started. But instead of the lake she is faced with a different sight. In the distance stands a beautiful castle and strange colors are still on the water as it pours from multifaceted rocks in tiers and layers. She reaches towards the pools, but there are so many reflecting back towards her she has to take a moment before deciding.
Finally Diana takes water from the light pool and as she does she vaguely remembers the soft helping hands of her mother and the more rough hands of her father helping back to her feet after her first time attempting to use her wings. It is a short but happy, gentle memory and as she pours the water onto the tree she watches as it grows one last time and it complete. It looked wonderful to her, simply perfect and she loved it. She watches as the leaves rustle and she hears a voice..
"Are you satisfied with what I have become?"
Smiling she hugs the trunk gently. "Yes, I am. You are perfect.." she whispers to the tree before taking her blessing.
AS she takes the blessing and holds it close Diana smiles. She remembered her first minipet and how it had been quite a happy and fluffy thing. She had taken very good care of it and had loved it. It had died however, of old age. Still she had done what she could to make it happy until it finally left her and then she had buried the body with sadness and reverence for the first pet she had ever had. As the memory fades she smiles and feels a bit more complete.
