There was eventually a moment where every man or woman reached their boiling point, and Captain Buddingtonite had once thought he had a rather high one. He fancied himsef a gentleman that was slow to anger and that he knew all the secrets in not allowing things to dig under his skin. But things had changed, and problems kept piling up, threatening to not only take him down, but completely flatten him beneath its soul-crushing weight. And Buddingtonite wasn't quite ready for that.
He had a lot on his mind as he stalked around the streets near the business district, hands in his oversized pocket and hat titled down at an angle, trying to hide the darkness that lingered beneath his crimson eyes from prying eyes. He hadn't slept much. He had little time, and what time he did have was spent trying to think of how to get out of this mess he found himself in. Not that thinking helped, so he'd resort to just staying awake and extending his patrols, like tonight, and he just wandered around, hoping that walking himself to the point of exhaustion would help clear his mind so that he could sleep.
It was asking for too much that he not run into the enemy tonight, and as exhausted and ridiculously delusional as he was, he suspected he had put too hope in that thought. Maybe he'd run into the enemy and they'd be like his previous encounters, filled more with curiosity and peaceful, hippy ordeals, and nothing at all like the bloodthirsty ravages that Ilmenite and others kept making them out to be. Oh, he was certain that those type of Senshi and Knights existed, he simply didn't wish to run into any of them tonight.
Or ever, really. At least not alone, anyway. Would fate smile upon him, or would the witch have more to throw onto his plate? He gave a heart felt sigh, looking around for any sleeping drunks or homeless to siphon a little energy off of to make this night worth it, steeling himself for a possible confrontation he was, in no shape or form, ready for. "Is it too much to ask for one uneventful night?"
That was basically tempting fate, but he figured he was now a glutton for punishment. In this city, wasn't everyone?Remove Sorry this took so long... wasn't sure where they wanted to meet, so the streets near the business district sound good?

Super Sailor Sirius. The name had once meant something, it had been a name connected to the only group of senshi that did what needed to be done. Now it meant nothing. From being part of a close knit group where she felt at home and with a family she was now on the outside with no one, wondering what the hell the point was in all of this. She had been away, her parents believed she had been on vacation but most of it was spent up on her star away from here, when she did come back she kept very much to herself and out the way. She had no idea of what had been happening, who was around and who wasn't. She was just trying to understand a war that made no sense. Was she even on the right side? Ares had turned and with her so had others, Albali wanted to and for all Sirius knew maybe she had already. The girl had basically begged Ares so it would hardly be surprising if she had also turned. So who had that left behind? Not very many. Rooftops were the best place to sit and ponder. It was possible that they would be safer if she wasn't all senshi like and sat there as a civilian but right now she felt safer knowing she had the power to protect herself if need be. She could feel the energy of someone heading her way and she knew it wasn't someone she would want to see. She had avoiding everyone for so long that she was use to it and rather enjoyed the solidarity. ChibiGingi I apologise for the delay! Had to move house and it took up way too much time!

Despite his earlier grievances, Buddingtonite was surprised with how quiet the night was, though even expressing any sort of gratitude to this feat would have likely backfired on the poor fellow. Perhaps tonight would be so bad after all? He'd fine some homeless man sleeping and take a few bits of energy and be on his way, and maybe actually get a full night's sleep! How wonderful would that have been?
But it would figure that the moment this thought even came to his mind, he felt the ping of an Order aura, not too far away, and he caused him to stop dead in his tracks and give an extremely audible groan. He wanted to take off his hat and just throw it at something, but what good would that have done besides ruin a perfectly good hat and make him look like a child throwing a temper tantrum? Instead, he resorted to a sigh, and without thinking, he summoned his boomerang, just in case this Senshi decided he'd make for great target practice. "I suppose it is too much to ask. Very well, let's go see if they're worth exchanging words to."
Perhaps they were friendly? Perhaps they could be convinced to follow him back to the Negaverse? Or perhaps they were one of those bloodthirsty ones that Ilmenite warned him about and he was making a foolish mistake in seeking out this Senshi's company? If so, then he'd try his luck at teleporting away, but he'd never know if he didn't approach him or her, right? "No venture, no gain."
So, he looked for this Order aura, walking with a sense of confidence and letting the Senshi, whoever they may be, know that he was a proud Negaverse captain, and he gave a rather catty purr as he called out to the hidden soldier. "Come out, come out... I only wish to talk."
Then he added in a hush-hush tone. "For now."Remove Moving... ohhhh, not fun. I know those feels.

Sirius watched from her perch as the soldier walked through the streets, she heard his call and sighed. It probably would have been too much to think he might just ignore her presence. She wasn't really in the mood for a fight but then she knew the negaverse, she wasn't going to be walked away unscathed. "You never want to just talk." She let the words fall out of her mouth, it gave away her position but she did not move. She just stayed sitting on the edge of the building watching him below. If this was going to end up being a fight then so be it but currently she couldn't be bothered and she wondered if her low energy mood would affect her attacks if it came to it. Lets hope she didn't need to find that out. Just in case though she quickly looked over the area, for anything she could make a weapon. It just needed to be pointy enough to go straight through him and take the life away.... but then isn't that what the negaverse did kill people? How were senshi any different? Then its war, there are always casualties.

He heard her voice and he looked upwards, looking at the Senshi that was perched on the rooftop and squinting his eyes to try and get a better look at her. From this distance it was hard to tell exactly what rank she was and the finer details were blurred, but he could sense that the two of them were at least on the same level... well, rank wise. Something about her seemed to indicate that she was more experienced than most of the Senshi he had encountered- was it the resolve behind her words? The stance she took? That look in her brown eyes and the skeptical response to his initial proposal?
Either way, it wasn't something Buddingtonite could ignore, and he crossed his arms as he remained on the ground, despite the disadvantage it gave him should she decide to attack. He'd deal with that if he had to, but he wasn't looking forward to it... at least not yet. He was willing to humor the chance at talking his way out of a hairy situation first, even if she wasn't. "Now why would you say that, my dear? Why you don't even know me! All I'm really good at is talking, you see... fighting just isn't my thing!"
He wasn't going to say he sucked at it- that was truth. But he'd give her the impression that he simply didn't want to when given other options. "Perhaps you've run into a few of the more feisty and brutish ones in the past? I assure you, I'm not at all like them. Please, lend an ear?"
He could have teleported himself up there, though he wasn't quite sure it was worth the risk. After all, it may have been a trap for all he knew! Other Senshi, laying in wait, masking their aura somehow. Ilmenite warned him about the exceptionally brutal ones, and he had no intention of running into them, whoever they were and wherever they may be. "Look, I'll even put away my weapon."
And Buddingtonite did so, giving a flick of the wrist and willing it back into the realm that it came from, and he held both hands out, to show that he was completely unarmed. "Does this convince you?"

Sirius watched with skepticism as he spoke, though when he got rid of his weapon she was at least a little surprised. She wasn't stupid though, that could come back as quickly as it went. She jumped off the rooftop, landing a little way from him. She wasn't stupid, keeping a distance was probably the safest option right now even if it did now look like some sort of stand off was happening. "Fighting is what the negaverse do. You see I helped capture and torture those more fiesty ones. Wolframite, he ring any bells? We enjoyed that one..." She was making herself seem worse then she was but she didn't want him under any illusion that she was one of these senshi that spoke a lot and did little. The fact was, she didn't torture anyone, in fact the whole thing had probably been the seed of the huge mass of confusion that now clouded her head. The fact was Sirius had done little other then watch and fight when the negaverse came to collect their troops, but it was more then that, they lost lives getting back their own. The negaverse were still growing strong but where was the BMC now? Mostly corrupt! "You can talk." She wasn't really in the mood for a fight either, but she wasn't about to let on. After all if this was some sort of trick then she would need to be able to get out fast.

Things were looking hopeful for the Negaverse captain when the senshi was willing to stand on the same level as him, and while that meant that she was within attacking range, it also meant that he was in a better position to defend himself, should she become aggressive. Still, there was some lingering of hope within him, and he allowed it to be seen within his smile, even when she kept her distance. It was truly for the best, for both of them. All he wanted was to talk...
Until she started talking, anyway. Her skepticism at first was understandable and he could point out quite a few names that matched her words. After all, there was an entire branch that specialized in that aspect, but he wasn't one of them, and he was willing to offer this information to her... until she brought up Wolframite.
And, just like that, Ilmenite's words were ringing in his ears, his warning about there being such a group that existed, and his once wide smile had straightened out into a more humble expression, doing his absolute best to not allow the fear to be seen in his gaze. He tried to remember if Ilmenite mentioned their name, but in truth, he didn't want to remember. Not yet. Instead, he forced his smile back, making it appear sweet and slightly humored, as he pointed to his own eye. "So, you're part of the group responsible for ol' Cyclops? Hm... well, that certainly explains his deep routed hatred for you and your kind."
Despite his sudden nervousness and the desire to flee before he risked becoming a victim like his comrade, he remained as he was, putting forth his best poker face and determined to get some kind of joy out of this experience. He had heard whispers of this group... and now he was curious, and that overrode his sense of self-preservation, for the moment. "You must forgive me- I am part of the new class, and while I was warned about the viciousness of the Senshi, I had yet seen such a thing. All the Senshi I've run into recently have been rather peaceful, friendly and civil... nothing at all like the inhuman monsters that the old school Negaverse had me believe. Tell me... what's changed? What's become of this group that has served to make this war needlessly bloody?"
He should have probably chosen his words more carefully, maybe have simply fled the scene all together, knowing now that she was once part of this group, but... she had not attacked him yet. If she was truly that ruthless, or proud of her part torturing one of his comrades, she would have undoubtedly struck him down by now. That certainly meant something... Remove Buddy is wondering if he should start runnin'. XD

Sirius watched the officer, the smile on his face wavered slightly but then it was back. What was more concerning is that the smile seemed genuine, he seemed genuine and that just confused her some more. He pointed at his eye and she tensed slightly, however he spoke about Wolframite and she didn't have a problem with that. At least he knew who she had spoken about. What was more interesting is what he said after that, a new class? Is that why the others joined the negaverse? Did she really want to stand here and admit that her wonderful family was now on his side. Maybe it was worth it to show how bad the negaverse were! "They are with you I believe. Ares was our leader and she turned, she started the dark mirror court and took Leto, Requiem and Gaia with her. Albali begged to be taken, she had a thing with Ares but Ares refused, we don't know why. However if she hasn't been corrupted yet I would be surprised. Albali made it her mission to join Ares again." So there it was, the story of how they failed. "I am surprised if you guys were told of our actions you were not told that most of us are now with you." Sirius looked at him slightly confused. Was this all a trap? It did seem a lot like one.

"Ares... you mean, Dark Mirror Queen Ares?" As if tonight wasn't already filled to the brim with surprises! Buddingtonite's poker face was completely tarnished by now, and if his eyes could go any wider, he'd probably be able to see the pores of her face and then some. He was warned of a group of Senshi and not only did it turn out to be true, but he had not realized the origin of their allies.
Their former allies.
He kept this part to himself, for now, uncertain if his leader wanted him to indulge their enemies of this fact just yet. Perhaps it was something he could use as leverage, or maybe payment for all of the information this one was offering him and the Negaverse as well. "This is getting juicy... to think, we've willingly aligned ourselves with her and her group, the very ones responsible for the capture and torture of poor Wolframite. How he can even stand to look at them..." He gave a quiver, as if both fearful and disgusted at the same time. "He's a far stronger general than I thought. Makes me respect him all the more."
Then there was that part about Albali, and Buddingtonite brought to hand to his chin. She was supplying him with so much free information that he felt horrible that she'd might walk away from this experience empty handed. At the same time, what if this was a trick to gather more intel? But... what harm could come from this? "Albali, Albali... that name rings a bell. I recall a Corrupt senshi by that name, but surely not! After all, if her heart was set on joining Queen Ares, then she why would she appear in our registry of loyal senshi officers?"
Fair was fair. She offered him insight- the least he could do was offer some of his own. If the Negaverse wanted it to be a secret, they should have hidden it better, at least, that's what Buddingtonite thought. "Well, nevermind that. Thank you for enlightening me... knowing this, I'm rather glad of recent events... makes me feel a whole lot safer now that we don't have those ruffians sullying our good name anymore."

Sirius didn't believe she had really given anything away, it had been common knowledge at the time and anyone would have known about how much Albali loved Ares. However hearing she was with the negaverse brought a smile to Sirius's lips. "Albali a corrupted senshi? Well, I suppose fate always wanted the two of them apart." However something he said did interest her and she looked confused for a second, though she then did her best to hide it. After all she didn't want to give away that she hadn't really been in the loop for however long it had been. "Recent events?" She looked curiously at them, "which of the many are you referring?" She figured playing it rather dumb was the better way of doing this. After all there were always 'events' here so it could have been anything. She really did need to get back in the loop again though.

"More so than you realize... I didn't know of their starcrossed romance, but hearing about it now only seems to make recent events all the more tragic," Buddingtonite said, confessing now that he was completely interested in this encounter and any fear he once held towards her or her past connections with such a frightful group was momentarily quelled. Not when there was juicy gossip going around. He was more than willing to share it with her, though he tried to keep some details out of it, not simply just to keep her guessing but because, admittedly, he wasn't quite sure what was going on either. "Queen Ares has disappeared and been gone for quite some time... I've actually never had the chance to meet her, but I was told that she was quite the charismatic one. Must be so, to have such blindingly loyal soldiers at her beck and call."
He fiddled with the rose on his coat, not sure why he felt the need to preen but unable to prevent the gesture as it kept him focused, calm, pleasant despite his words and the valuable intel he was willingly releasing to the enemy. "With her absense, things have gotten a little tense in her faction. Their Mirror Wraiths are pretty much uncontrollable beasts, sucking dry any and everyone, including our own officers. At first we were told not to harm them, but after awhile, we just sort of had enough of it and decided to go our separate ways. The Negaverse simply couldn't be nothered tethering itself to an organization that was just as hopeless as the White Moon Court, should they bring us down with them."
Buddingtonite gave a shrug, before adding. "Nothing personal, really. Not against their human officers. Mirror Wraiths, on the other hand... if I see one even getting close to attacking me, I'll smash it. Disgusting, mindless creatures. But, then again, so are youma, so, not one to talk."
Suddenly a thought came to his mind, and he desired intel of his own. He felt that he was being very generous to this one, whom he knew her past associations but not her name or sphere, and now felt like the appropriate time to seek some kind of payment for such generosity with some intel of his own. "So, what about you? When Ares took the others, why didn't she take you? Or Albali, for that matter? Did you chose not to go, or did she think you unworthy?"

Sirius found herself relaxing and even moved closer towards him and sat down on the path, her back against a building. She was comfortable talking to him, as that was all that was happening, the tense atmosphere has lifted and it was nice to be able to talk everything through with someone who was different but yet also kind of knew some of the things that had been going on. Maybe Ares has been right? Sirius still couldn't believe that. "Ares has gone? Again? That doesn't surprise me. She vanished on us a few times, always came back but there were moments where I wondered if she would. I wasn't that close to her, never one of the 'inner gang'." Sirius didn't mention how hard she had tried to get into that inner sanctum. She had only made it once Birhan became leader and then it had all fallen apart, it clearly wasn't meant to be. "I haven't come across a mirror wraith, any time I have met their officers for a while I wanted to kill them. Now I can't see the point. Though how are they growing in numbers if Ares is not about?" She was sure she had seen more, or at least heard of more of them around. "When Ares turned she had called us all for a meeting..." Sirius paused wondering whether she should talk about that day. Though most of them were now on the other side and she hadn't seen those who weren't in so long she didn't really feel any loyalty to them. After all it was a small group of senshi and in the big scheme of things, it didn't mean much. "It was in an old derelict church, she had been missing for a while so it was a shock when we were all called in. She was different though, it was obvious to begin with, she had always missed her parallels and having only Gaia there with her, we were never good enough. I suppose thats why she turned, to have her own court. She took Gaia who went wilingly, Leto, I can't remember if she went willingly or not and then she took Requiem, she put up a fight. She offered it all to us, she said she would get us one day, every single one. As for why she didn't take Albali, I reckon it's because part of her still cared for the girl. I don't know why she would have left her most loyal subject behind." Sirius sighed a little and looked up at the negaverse agent having spend most of the story looking at the floor. "She gave me a good scratch on my face when I met her next, it was up with the zodiacs, where she turned some more to her. She told me then she would still be coming but I guess she won't be now." Goodness that had turned into quite the story, but she was comfortable and right now she didn't really care if this was a huge trap. Surely most knew that story now? It had just left Sirius with no-one, and so here she was. "Most of the senshi left behind have either moved on, doing other things, joined other teams, continue the good fight. For the majority they are comfortable continuing but maybe not so viciously. Ares did always love a good blood bath..."

When the Senshi sat down, it told Buddingtonite that she seemed to have relaxed, at least enough to get into what others would think was an unfavorable position when around the enemy. And truthfully it did his own nerves some good. Someone who was once part of that nightmarish faction, even if rejected by their leader, was still someone he did not want to mess with, and he wasn't afraid to admit to this if anyone asked. Buddingtonite was a lover, not a fighter, and he'd like to keep it that way!
"I was unaware of how aloof she was, even prior to becoming the Queen of the Dark Mirror Court," Buddingtonite couldn't help but comment, musing the thought. She had disappeared again, but according to this one, it wasn't anything new. So what had made this occurrence different from the others? Why did the Mirror Wraiths become completely incorrigible now when she seemed to blip in and our of existence in the past? It was certainly unsettling, and he'd have to bring this bit of news up with Zinkenite or Ilmenite. That'd be for later. For now, he wanted to hear this one's story, and he listened with rapt attention, taking in every detail and waiting until he was certain that she was done before interjecting. It would have been extremely rude if he interrupted her, especially since she was supplying him with a juicy story that his Negaverse failed to do.
While she kept her had down, he crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the wall, not only taking the intel into consideration but her feelings as well, and when her story drew to a close, he made sure to chose his words with care, pitching his voice as compassionate and apologetic as he could muster. "I am sorry that she overlooked you, though I can't see why she would. I can sense that you're strong, and she obviously must have felt so at some point if you ever allowed you into the Blood Moon Court. But, like you mentioned with Albali, she wanted to protect you, prevent you from being dragged away into whatever keeps pulling her away from time to time?"
It was carrion comfort, and he suspected that he was completely wrong. He had heard of Queen Ares but never seen her, and while he was utterly disgusted with the whole ordeal with the Mirror Wraiths having been their victim on a few occasions, he held no ill-contempt with the Dark Mirror Court. Even with their broken alliance, he'd rather spend his time with a Dark Mirror Senshi than the enemy… yet here he was, chatting away with Sirius, flirting with another. When Sirius mentioned bloodbath, he openly quivered, but he explained himself. "There's some extremes I'm not comfortable with myself, so I doubt I would have been allowed into her court. That and I'm not a Senshi. But I'm sure she has her reasons, but whatever they are, she's missing out on great potential."
As was the Negaverse, if he did not try to collect this one. This one seemed perfect, if not a little lost. She needed direction, and Buddingtonite felt that, with the right words and push, he could offer her that. "What do you plan on doing now?"

Sirius was surprised by his words and slightly cautious. The negaverse didn't care. Then again she knew that wasn't true, they had all come to collect their officers when the BMC had them, they were happy to slaughter anyone to get their officers back, so they did care, why they cared was a different story. Sirius however knew she could no longer believe the negaverse were heartless, they were stronger together then the senshi, she had no doubt about that. "No, I believe at the time Ares was too weak to take any more of us. She grew in strength and we grew to hate her. I suppose she would of had to take us by the force at that point and she wanted us to go willingly. Albali, I will never understand that. Maybe Ares thought she would make her weak, Ares was never one for any sort of weakness." That was probably what happened really, Ares did care for Albali, but that was a weakness so it must have been the reason Ares did not take her. Yet the negaverse now had her. Sirius couldn't help but wonder what Albali could remember of her former life. "You really aren't a fighter are you? Why are you even in the negaverse?" She couldn't help but wonder, he clearly didn't like a fight and was that not what the negaverse did best? "What do I plan on doing? Good question." She shrugged, she still had no idea but she also wasn't about to admit that she had spent nearly a year in hiding trying to avoid everyone. That didn't seem like a clever thing to admit!

He tapped a finger to his chin at her observation and he saw no flaw in it. After all, he was warned that corrupting someone could have been extremely draining to an individual and while Ares had obtained her final rank, there was still limitations to this power. He wondered how many his own General-Kings and Queens could obtain in a single sitting, how much time it would take to recover from such an ordeal. All of these questions couldn't be answered here, so he would not burden her. She obviously had a lot on her mind as it was. He threw in his input in regards to Albali, probably for the last time as he himself wasn't that knowledgeable about her turn or her history besides what he gathered from the meeting. "I suppoe we'll never know now. But whatever Albali can offer, at least it's not wasted on the White Moon Court."
When directly questioned on his lack of fighting style and his decision to join the Negavere, Buddingtonite had little fear in admitting the truth. "There's more to the Negaverse than fighting, but I suppose in the days of yore that wasn't the case. Now we have branches, starting with Intelligence, Special Operations and Infiltration, and most recently added, General Operations. I'm part of Infiltration, which means that my priority is public relations, recruitment, you know, the hiring agents. We see combat from time to time, but that's what Spec-Ops is for. Let them throw their lives away- it's my job to find suitable replacements for them should it come to that.
"As for why I'm even in the Negaverse? Simple. It's safer here. Sure, there's some nuts you have to work with and we're ordered to do some downright horrible things, but at least I'm safe from becoming a victim, so long as I continue to be useful," Buddingtonite said. "Before, I was a civilian with no knowledge or a chance to defend myself, every day that passed, I'd increase my chances of becoming just some nobody victim. However, joining the Negaverse, an organization with a solid cause, leadership, and... well, organization, was better for the long run, and so long as I continue to gather energy and obey their orders, I'm an asset. A useful asset."
Not that his recruitment quota was really filled. Was there even one? Sure, if he took them against their will, maybe his record would be greater, but that wasn't Buddingtonite's style. He wasn't too surprised to hear that Sirius didn't have a long-term plan, and he was willing to push the deal, though it meant going into possibly dangerous territory. "Then tell me, what keeps you tethered to a court with no cause or direction? Has the Negaverse truly been that bad in the past that you cannot see the value of their cause?"
