Mei emerged from the grocery store after spending some time talking to Jenny at the cash register. With treats for this evening carefully stowed in her side bag Mei slung the strap over her shoulder and took to the side walk all the while gazing up at the sky. Looks like it may rain. I wonder if poor weather ever deters chaos from going outside. Honestly though, after living in Washington, the rainy state, for so many years you start to become accustomed to crappy weather.

Still in deep thought she hung a left into the alley behind the store, weaving her way around over flown trash bins and a parked vehicle. She could just imagine the number of ways her attack could go wrong. What if she shocked herself because she was soaked from the rain? 'That would be unfortunate' she thought despite the amused expression on her face. The scene played out in her mind, her summoning her static shock and instead of it arching out toward her opponent arching back at her; then the opponent doubling over laughing hysterically at her. "I really hope it doesn't work like that." she said aloud though nobody was around to hear her.

Once she reached a safe place in the labyrinth of alleyways away from prying eyes. Mei reached into her side bag and pulled out her henshin pen. She took a moment to look around one more time just to make she she hadn't been followed before reciting the words "Sidouer power, make up!" Each time she powered up seemed to be a little less shocking than before as she became accustomed to powering up, though she wasn't exactly sure that was a good thing.

Sidouer looked down at her side with an amused look on her face "Huh even my bag disappeared, hope my food is ok". With that said she began walking back through the alley ways, though not the same way she entered, but at least away from the smelly garbage. 'Today will be a quick patrol' she decided 'Just here, around the neighborhood once then home' simple right?

She had barely made it around the first turn before the distinct feeling she wasn't alone washed over her. It would be easy to chalk it up to paranoia except there was no mistaking the Chaos aurora that overwhelmed her senses. 'How did they find me so quickly?' she wondered as fear crept up inside of her. There was no doubt in her mind that whomever the signature belonged to was much stronger than those she has already had the unfortunate luck of running into.

Sidouer paused in the alley way and slowly, so ever slowly, turned around to look behind her. 'Nobody...' She took a hesitant step backwards pressing her back against the side of a building and looked up. "I know your up there! How long do you plan on following me?"

She didn't bother trying to mask the fear in her voice with false courage. There was no point, the two chaos guys she already ran into were both faster and stronger than her and their weapons... they weren't fun. please don't try to kill me too...'

Sidouer rolled her eyes "No offence but it's rather difficult to miss a chaos signature such as yours."

Aside from having a rather intimidating presence, the creme haired senshi felt a bit relieved that the guy on the roof had yet to 'really' threaten her, at least not yet anyway. Not unlike the two she had the not-so-pleasure of meeting already.

Regardless, she wasn't about to go intentionally provoking him just to doom her short lived existence. Finding no point in hiding something so painfully obvious Sidouer responded to his question, "Yes though not entirely by choice. And you? I'm guessing it's safe to assume that you've been at this for a while yes?"

'Do you know why all of this is going on then?' She wondered. So far the only one to give her much information had been Kallichore but some things you just need to hear both sides of.

"Mmm, you could say that" Sidouer crossed her arms in front of her chest more so as a natural resting stance than anything. " I've only ran into the blonde haired whip wielding guy Mariposite and the crazy gold eyed chakram throwing guy . Mariposite had been chasing a cat through the woods... who ran into me, and here I am... The other guy," she paused , that night still left lingering nightmares and at least one scar. "I thought maybe he was Mariposite so I followed his signature but he wasn't who I was looking for. Summed up, I fell from a two story house thanks to his aid, he got shot by the home owner, and we ended up finding ourselves in the woods, it was a bloody mess." It was true they were both kind of bleeding all over the place, her from her back from landing in the bush and him from his shoulder where he was shot.

'Are you going to kill me like they tried to...?'

"Hmm, I know what you mean. If I'm the product of the chase I think you can guess which." She replied, her response void of sarcasm. "I'm pretty certain Mariposite had no intention to take her home that's for sure. Though I'll be honest, I haven't seen or heard from her since then." Truthfully Sidouer wasn't entirely sure how to get a hold of Julienne, definitely something to ask Kallichore next time they meet up.

Sidouer shifted her weight from her left foot to her right relaxing just a bit. So long as they maintained this distance she'd be okay. "And you? How... When... did you get involved?" Not that she really expected him to open up, but there's no harm in asking right?

Brick by brick, piece by piece, her internal wall was coming down, whether she wanted it to or not. The fact that he answered her question, regardless if it was true or not, was a start. Willingly ignoring her instincts to run.. that the man on the roof was a bad guy, if only because is power signature told her so, she found herself wanting to trust him, to give him the benefit of the doubt.

There was only one down side of him answering her question. With conversations like these there was normally a bit of give and take. However now that Pandoras box had been opened a crack, many questions flowed freely through her mind, though if he were to ask her anything in return, she doubted she have any answers for him.

Sidouer tilted her head back to look up at him, his facial features looking a bit odd since she was seeing him upside down, and offered him a thank you smile, though she couldn't be sure he could see her down on the street level with the limited light. A moment passed slowly, a part of her expected him to ask a question now that he had answered hers, but none came. "So he was a General who recruited you and you started out as a Captain? If you've both moved up since then, does that mean you're a General now or are you... higher rank than that? I apologize for the question, I just know from standing here you're stronger than the two I've met so far. I can't exactly say I know their rank, if they told me I honestly don't remember. All I know is they were faster, and stronger..." 'and a** holes' she mentally added.

Super? Was that what she had to look forward to? She knew that Kallichore was an Eternal, so does that mean Kalli is equal to the General that loomed overhead? Definitely something to inquire more about some other time.

Her curiosity piqued when he mentioned goals. There was no doubt in her mind that he could easily take her life, if the power that radiated off him wasn't a prime indication of his significant superiority than what was? "May I ask? What are your goals?" She left 'your' up to his interpretation being either his own personal goals or that of his group's.

Sidouer's heart beat with a pang of familiarity, his goal seemed to mirror her own to a degree. The only reason she powered up each night was to protect her friends, family, and neighborhoods... to make sure that the people around her were safe. It was that desire she held so desperately on to because without it... she had nothing.

What he said next came as a surprise as he willingly offered up a part of himself that seemed so personal. The thing is, she believed him. She was prepared to take what he said with a grain of salt but when presented with this gift, this peak inside as to why he had these goals, she believed him.

Pushing herself off and away from the wall she responded to his question "I do." Sidouer paused for a moment before asking him another question "Would it be okay if I come up there? Just for a moment? Or... Would you be willing to come down here?" She wanted to thank him, the right way not with a weak smile and a 'thank you' from 12 feet below him. No, she wanted to be able to look him in the eyes and show her sincere appreciation. He had given her something the others seemed to want to take away....
