Personality: Voldo is an odd fellow. He is cheery and outgoing, though reserved in the face. He also gets testy when people are rude and if threatened becomes sadistic. Voldo clearly shows his kind side however his impassive facial expression is hard to ignore. He always supports other despite his hefty work load. Hes a strategist above all else, and when in battle he always enjoys tinkering with the variables of the fight.

Family: none...upon death they were eaten by hollows. Theres not much to tell. The seretei unable to monitor every human soul that dies was unable to save his family upon their demise and as such the Hollow got to them.


Background: Born in japan Voldo was a nice man in the feudal era. He worked hard trying to be a good doctor. But with war and disease his heart became heavy. for twelve years after becoming a man he had served as a doctor helping the sick and wounded. Till one day the Samurai forces of the emperor came and slaughtered the village. Voldo lived in the soul society after that. He was smart so he was put on as a scientific adviser for the 12th squad for a while... before becoming a lieutenant of squad 4. after a while he became captain after challenging the original... he had kept his bonkai sealed until that moment, which brought shock and awe to everyone.

Shikai Incantation: Cauterize and hemorrhage... DARK SURGEON!

Release Appearance: The blade transforms into a bladed staff.


Description: a large battle staff with a decorative blade at the tip.


Abilities: The Blade resonate a reishi pattern which disrupts an opponents. Cutting an opponent has two effects which can be activated with a word.

cauterize- the blade emit a powerful negative boost to the victim which forces their own spiritual energy on a cellular level to combust searing the wound the blade inflicts almost as if the blade was white hot.

Sever- the blade leave behind a strong spiritual signature on any wound made by this ability effectively halting any cellular regeneration by disrupting and halting the targets spiritual pressure/energy on a cellular level around the wound. This forces the victim to be in-able to heal and continue bleeding. If the wound is severe the victim can bleed out.
However a burst of healing kido on the wound inflicted by the blade shall distrupt this skill allowing the wound to heal again. (Each cut lasts for 4 posts unless disrupted with healing kido, the skill can be used up to 10 5 times after that it requires 2posts to build up energy again for this skill)

Bankai Name: Horseman of Pestilence

Bankai Incantation: Bonkai... Horseman of pestilence.

Release Appearance: A massive expolsion of black energy will emit and envelop Voldo and then mold to him till all that stands is a figure in black wearing a white plague mask.


Description:


Abilities: Voldo is granted the power of pestilence. Unlike poison zampactou this bonkai allows him to spread viruses and disease upon multiple enemies. These diseases often more progressive than normal and unlike poison viruses tend to mutate making medicine hard to be effective. However there is also a reverse... The bonkai also allows him to cure any illness or affliction that ails someone however this leaves him vulnerable to attack. The healing ability is a skill which requires focus as Voldo must remove the ailments by enfusing a neutral and positive reishi into the subject and use it to lure and draw out what ever the subject suffers from. The ailment is then cleansed and removed. Viruses and diseases are often spread through touch or gaseous form. Inhaling or coming into contact with said contagions are dangerous. These effects progress and symptoms get worse so long as Bonkai is active. Gaseous viruses can spread out to about 20m. However physical transmuted viruses and diseases are not limited as the contagion can be spread from person to person. (similar to the plague and the common cold.)
The Bonkai requires allot of spiritual energy and thus can only be maintained for an hour (60 minutes, 6 posts) The healing powers can only be used on others so if harmed Voldo is on his own.

The shikai is a close range melee only. and as it said when the opponent is cut... it stands to reason YES the opponent must be struck with the blade for the effects of the shikai to work.

the ability of sever lasts as long as the shikai is active.

as stated before this isn't poison...its disease as such there is no antidote only medicine, but as medical science has proven viruses are hard to treat...the effects last as long as bonkai is active.

the sever skill only lasts as long at the skikai is active. once the shikai is sealed the wound should immediatly begin to clot like a normal wound should.

I hope that makes sense... Ive studied the reishi and spirit pressure features of bleach and apparently there ability to heal like a human is based on their bloodcells. However for shinigami they heal because of their spirtual pressure...so the sever ability allows the specific wound to prevent from coagulating and healing.

but im adding that a healing kido will distrup this skill and return the ability to heal in the wound.
