Emery stumbled upon the sleeping wyrm, and started to walk backwards, hoping to not set it off. Unfortunately, a twig cracked under her feet, and the wyrm opened its eyes blearily, sitting up slowly as plumes of smoke rose out of the creature. Red eyes blazed down as the wyrm drew its lips back, snarling low.
"Crap." She muttered, raising her guns and shooting at the creature as she moved backwards quickly. She didn't move fast enough, and the wyrm spun sharply, taking her down with its tail.OOC Name of character: Emery Algernon Damage done: 3 CURRENT HP OF BOSS: 37/40 Current HP: 35/40 Special ability: Rook's Ambition You can attack two times in a row. 1/1. Having been knocked to her back on the flat ground, she tried to push herself up, but the wyrm descended, snarling as it bit at her, trying to take her whole head off. She caught something -- a branch? -- and stabbed into the wyrm's mouth, missing but managing to startle it backwards.
She got up, ignoring the pain in her arm, and gathered her guns again quickly, rounding on the wyrm.OOC Name of character: Emery Algernon Damage done: 0 CURRENT HP OF BOSS: 37/40 Current HP: 30/40 Special ability: Rook's Ambition You can attack two times in a row. 1/1. Guns firmly in hand, Emery unleashed a round of fire on the wyrm, doing a fair amount of damage as the bullets ate through its wings. With the wyrm descending on her quickly again from the sky, Emery aimed upward, shooting at its wings to bring the wyrm down. With the wyrm down, Emery didn't ease up, shooting at its back and head to try and take the wyrm down quickly. She stopped after a few rounds, panting, and eyed the creature. It wasn't moving. It seemed dead...
And then it was up and rushing at her, snarling and smoky. At close range, Emery rolled onto her side, and fired both guns at the wyrm, watching as it snarled and fell forward, hitting the ground. She got up, firing a few extra rounds into just to be sure... And then stepped forward gingerly, kicking it.
Dead, Jim.
Definitely dead.

Emery crouched down as the wyrm fell, collecting her loot and pocketing the red vial with a grimace. She eyed the dragon for a long time, shoulders slumping. "Poor beast."
Then she left.
