The mist rolled in so slowly that West had barely noticed he was losing his world to white. After their last battle, he and Sammy had misplaced each other again, and while he wasn't exactly looking for the ghoul, he wouldn't have objected to fighting with her again. Instead, he found floating orbs and a tree. The young man shrugged. Things could have been worse.

He was startled when she spoke, but he nodded, certain that like everything else around here, he would not be allowed to refuse her request.

West walked on, a strange sense of deja vu washing over him as he spotted the lake. Hearing a faint tune coming from under the water and seeing no other way to progress, he dunked his head beneath the surface for a moment, attempting to squeeze out his hair as he came back up.

He cupped a bit of water between his palms and brought it to her... children. When his acorn was dropped, he picked it up between his forefinger and thumb.

"Kinda... small," he complained, having no idea what the size of an average acorn actually was.

It took him a while to figure out what she was talking about with the whole memory thing, but once he had, West obligingly reached into the water and grabbed at one of the bubbles...

ONE

Quote:
All characters in this world have the special ability that when they hit a certain age, they can summon a creature form of themselves. The most powerful are the zodiac creatures, the twelve animals that govern the zodiac (starting with Rat --> Pig), the least powerful are the lesser creatures that govern them, such as pidgeons, etc. When doing this prompt, look at all the minor achievements your character has collected. If you have less than 10, write for a less powerful one, if you have less than 20 write for an average one, if you have more than 21 write for a greater zodiac creature. How do they bond/ what is their role in this world/ how do they communicate with each other is entirely up to you. You are only writing your character's POV but you can borrow NPCs and any players characters you got permission from.

It was finally time to graduate, now that he had his animal. He was neither the strongest nor the weakest, but he could defend himself and his family and that was all he could ask for. For now.

West scratched at the thick ruff of fur at his bear's neck and looked out over the forest below, the creature's low growl audible just under the howl of the wind.

TWO

Quote:
Your character has been a minipet their entire life. They grew up in the Scarefari, where their parents told them to go to Minipet Battle School. Their hopes is to one day breed with a big, strong minipet and create beautiful children. However, on the way there are many adventures, including being bullied by stronger minipets in the Battle Arena, and nearly being sold to the Black Market, or taken to the Altar of Sacrifice. It's a cruel world in the minipet world, and not everyone is out to help them. If you are a horsemen, hunter, or student, it doesn't matter, you are a minipet, in the minipet setting (anywhere on the site is fair game for interpretation "icly"). You are only writing your character's POV but you can borrow NPCs and any players characters you got permission from.

West bounded across the misty fields, his acceptance letter to the Minipet Battle School firmly gripped in his mouth. When he reached his family's burrow he hurried inside, dropping the scrap of parchment at his mother's feet. She licked his face. "I knew you could do it, honey."

THREE

Quote:
Your character exists in a world where Halloween does not exist. They are Human and they go to a Human high school. They are part of a swimming club, and they are currently about to face a great competition. They know their rival swim team is trying to race against them but they must win the gold medal, for their team! All else you can interpret as you please, including roles and canon. You are only writing your character's POV but you can borrow NPCs and any players characters you got permission from.

West burst into the locker room, abs glistening. He had been training for this day for months, and he wasn't about to let some shark-obsessed losers take his medal from him.

"Jeffrey," he spat. "Did you get the Rohypnol into their Gatorade like I asked you to?"

An equally abs-endowed young man Blue Steeled at West from across the room. "Of course," he sneered. "We'll be winning this race, or my name isn't Baron Backstroke.

West fed the... very strange... memories to the sapling, watching as it spread its limbs and grew into a fragile young tree.

He turned to try to leave, certain his job here was done. The voice called him back. It seemed he was to take some water.

West examined the pools, dipping his hand into the last of them. It was warm. He couldn't recall when he had closed his eyes, but he was glad he had. The sensation of being held, holding someone in return, tingled over his skin. At least with his eyes shut, it felt a little like he was alone.
