Moving onwards, Poke stopped and then stared at the wondrous sight ahead of her, her eyes wide in awe. A lake laid in front of her, it's glistening waters sparkling white from the orbs, the silver trees surrounding the magnificent landmark. She could not resist the pull, her aquatic part yearned to touch, to feel this clear water.

A sigh escaped her as she took off her shoes and stepped into the lake, walking further until it came up to her neck. She then dived under, soaking up the magical feeling of the liquid encompassing her body. Another voice spoke to her, asking her to carry this water to her children. It must of been the tree again.

The dragon then felt herself being pulled upwards, and quickly cupped some of the water with her hands as she was then lead to a tree. Gently she watered the tree, surprised to see a acorn grow and then drop, the tree then withering away with a thank you.

It was time. Pokerus had just turned 16, which meant it was her coming of age birthday. Today she would have the ceremony, a grand party where she would, for the first time, summon her spiritual animal. It would determine what sort of life she would lead. If she summoned a common one, she would lead a pretty normal life. But if she summoned a powerful creature, well...things could get interesting.

Regardless of what she summoned, Poke was excited. Already the decorations were being displayed, people coming over to wish her luck for the ceremony. Everything was happening, and she was being swept along for the ride.

It was only a few hours later, at ten minutes to midnight, that everyone had gathered. She was at a temple now, one for people whow ere about to begin the summoning ceremony. Many loved to come and watch others summon their creatures, some believing it was a sign of good luck if they witnessed a zodiac creature being born.

the clock ticked on at a slow pace, and Poke watched it, urging it to move faster as the minutes slowly drifted by. Four minutes...two minutes...1 minute..

The gong sounded. Everyone hushed as The girl began to dance, a well practice set of moves that combined many forms of dancing, and even some martial art moves. Each one allowed her to focus her mind, draw forth her spiritual energy as she called to the spirit world. Come, come spirit animal...I command you!

And then, it happened. A ripple in the fabric of time. Energy began to condensed and form as a creature was summoned. It's long, sinus body wrapped around it's new master, and everyone gasped when they realized what they saw. The Zodiac dragon.

Poke grinned, reaching out to stroke the soft hair on it's forehead. Blue scales shimmed in the moonlight, giving the creature a erre presence. Since she had summoned a creature of the zodiac, things were going to get alot more interesting. Dragons were powerful creatures, demanding authority and opening up many pathways.

In a flash, she had jumped onto it's back, and with a sock tap to it's side, the dragon flew off into the night.

Pokerus stepped out on the arena to the cries of thousands, her ears far used to the deafening cries of the audience as they waited for her to shed blood once more. They had seen her do it countless times; her claws would stab the opponent, or perhaps cut off their heads with a well aimed slash. Sometimes she had ripped them limb from limb with her bear hands. It didn't matter how she did it, her opponent would always end up a mishmash of organs at the end. And the audience loved her for it.

And if they were lucky, they might see her do the unspeakable; devour her pray as if they were some common heard animal.

She had not always been like this. In the past she had never dared to hurt a living being like this. She had cared, she had protected, she had loved.

But that was gone now. The ones she had called friends had all been slaughtered. Her ideas were tarnished, her honor had been stamped into the mud. Nothing else existed for her now, except killing. It was what she was good at, and nothing else. Gone were those carefree days she had cherished. They had been taken from her, and in her fury at her friends deaths she had gone into a frenzy, killing everyone who had ever dared to hurt them.

Now she pulled up those feelings, that anger and instinct to murder and disembowel, as her 98th opponent walked onto the field. Her regarded her with disdain, a large glowing scythe swung in the air as he watched this savage creature snarl at him.

She took no notice of the one named Caelius, she just charged, intent on killing her prey.

The shark scareon wagged her tail happily, prancing about the glitter mines area as she took down opponent after opponent and growing stronger with everyone she fought. Battle school had been the best thing ever as far as she was concerned, helping her to evade the more perilous obstacles of the minipet world.

Now, she was on the lookout for something else besides a good smackdown. She was looking for a mate, someone she could make powerful babies with.

A Basilikos came into view, regarding her with some interest. Her eyes narrowed playfully, yes this would be the perfect mate. Not only was he strong, but he was rare, and he looked awesome.

She approached cautiously, not wanting to waste a golden opportunity to get to know him better.
