Oh. Another talking gargoyle huh...
Erebus listened patiently to uh... Dirk Bladegod the Excellent, or Dirk, as he would call him. Fellow heroes huh? Ell Eff Jhee? What?
He could only stare as the gargoyle busied himself with his book. "Ell Eff Jhee?" He murmured, and almost jumped when a few other people materialized into sight.
"How about we split up and go through the doors?" He suggested, heading towards the red door. W-was that crying? Oh dear...
All that there was in the room was a small mirror.
As he moved closer, he realized that his reflection looked younger. What in the--
"Hey!" He yelped, jumping back as the kid lunged at him.
"All we are is just the pathetic middle brother, aren't we?" The younger version of himself whispered, and without even thinking, Erebus swung his weapon.

The second floor was round and with five doors. The first door Wilson had stepped through, the next possessed three keyholes, and then three peculiar doors. By now, the sight of the gargoyle didn’t surprise him. “Hello,” he greeted back with a soft voice. Golden eyes narrowed slightly at the ridiculous name, but made no comment. He merely stepped through the middle door that smelled delightful.
Wilson found himself standing in front of a dinner table in a familiar room. He smiled when he spotted a plate of dumplings and sauce neatly set before him. It was his favorite. He pulled the chair out and sat down, grabbing the chopsticks and carefully selecting a single dumpling to dip into the sauce. The hunter closed his eyes as he took his first bite.
”Mom, what's this?” he asked, his head poking above the counter. His mother’s gentle hand patted his head and carefully urged him away.
“It's your favorite, of course. Dumplings! They're just about done, okay?” She smiled softly as she set the plate of dumplings on the table.
The memory was sweet, but faded away as he took another bite.
Wilson took a deep sigh as he seated himself. “Is it dumplings tonight?” he asked with a questioning look, head turned toward his mother. She smiled with a nod. His face lit up with a wide grin before he slid his chair forward and held his chopsticks in his hands to say the usual prayer.
Another bite.
His legs were crossed while he held the bowl of sauce in one hand, dumpling-holding chopsticks in the other. He ate quietly as he stared out toward the garden.
He kept eating, eating, eating. It was a familiar sensation. Wilson stopped suddenly when he realized all of the dumplings had disappeared. He had happily eaten it all in a matter of moments. His lips pressed together into a small frown, but reluctantly reached over when a gargoyle appeared with a mint and key. He stared at the mint for a moment before he popped it in.

Apparently if Xiu wanted to get her hands on the next key, some swimming was involved. Eying the pool warily, she sighed and crouched down to slide in.
Getting bitten by the shark was not a good start.

She ended up losing some clothes along the way (...) but at least it made swimming easier.

Looked like she had to give something up to the gargoyle if she wanted to continue. After some consideration, she gave up her Simple Protection and went to try again.
