Efflo didn't know why he kept coming up against dragons. It was like horrific karma or some otherworldly bullshit. This one was especially large and horrifying, and Efflo's initial glaring was slowly replaced by a more and more terrified look. He might have bitten off more than he could chew. What was that sound? Was it.. an eagle screeching? How very odd.Freya was flying. This was both literal, and figurative, as she was in the air, reining arrows at the dragon from above. But it was clear from the fierce and possibly mad expression on her face, that she was feeling absolutely, deliriously happy. And why shouldn't she? She was in love. That poor dragon never knew what hit it. After the deluge of arrows, Freya powered up some kind of super, mega arrow, which was twice the size of her, and aimed right at his head.. Kettil was pretty much running along with her. No real slow to his step but also with a wide grin on his face, one could almost say that he was just as happy as his counterpart who was currently showering the large monster with arrows.
He wasted no time as he called forward his weapon and suddenly lunged forward. Why would he be bothered that it was bigger than him? The bigger they were the harder they fell. It struck him as he hit it, but he didn't care.

Shun came by, only to see a giant a** dragon. "..s**t."And then the valkyrie had shot the dragon with a barrage of arrows, followed by one giant one. He never would have thought he'd see something so powerful. But he just did. And for a little while, he just stared at her. Wait. ... This was the one he was picking up annoyance vibes off of wasn't he? A dragon. Mimsy clenched the handle of the scythe and stared at it, eyes narrowed. She still really ******** hated dragons. A disapproving hiss coiled around her mind, but she paid no attention to the jabberwock behind the curtain. " Move," she mumbled, stepping past the small, scattered group that had gathered by the wyvern, glaring at a single yellow eye. She swung with all of her might and struck the dragon's cheek, but still didn't feel satisfied. It had to die. ( I thought we were friends--) The voice was a pathetic whine, and she chose not to respond. Maybe if it spoke with greater strength. Efflo had been considerably worried by himself. The sight of the winged blonde joining battle hadn't exactly quieted his fears either, until she practically exploded into a reign of terror against the dragon, pelting it with arrow after arrow. He supposed he could forgive any subsequent gross couple things they subjected him to after that, at least for a little while. Her performance may have even inspired him, and he sliced at the dragon with gusto. Finally landing on the ground beside Kettil, Freya took a moment to see exactly who she was fighting with. She lit up like a light bulb, waving frantically. "HI GRUMP! HI GRUMPER!" She gave Mimsy a happy little smile, before aiming with her giant bow for one more shot. "Thinks we has a chance?" As if to answer her, the dragon smacked her with its tail. "Hey Sourpriss," Kettil beamed over at at the grumpy-one that he recalled from earlier days. At least seemed to - enough to remember the cute little nickname he'd given him.
Then Freya got knocked about and Kettil made an angry sound as he hacked at the offending tail as it swung back to get at him, "GOING TO END YOU."
It seems he found his exuberance again. Even as he was being smashed into the ground after that little exchange of hits ended.

Yes. This was the one who was giving off the irritation vibes. Shun was now less impressed with her. He also saw Kettil here now. As well as Mimsy. As far as Freya's nickname went, he just shot a glare at her before calling the blue scythe out. His grip tightened on the weapon as he rushed at the dragon. He kept the blade low initially before swinging up as he leaped into the air.The momentum caused him to turn after the initial strike, and as he came back around, he brought the scythe down onto the dragon's body. A heavy blow, but the dragon didn't seem too phased by it. "Tsk. "Did they have a chance? He couldn't be completely certain. But he was going to give this creature hell if possible. Freya hopped up on her tiptoes when Efflo yelled, smiling like a child who's just said something only they think is funny. "Haha! Okays! Ummm, what was it again? I don't remembers.." She was so good at this. Restringing her bow, she let fly another set of feather tipped arrows, pinging the string of the bow after they sank into the monster. "Ja, how's that fee-" And then it hit her again. "Don't think he ever gave up a name," Kettil observed as he got to his feet and then lunged at the monster for attacking Freya again. He wasn't going to just let a huge beastly thing attack her without punishment. Aside from the challenge aspect, protecting someone was a noble goal, right?

Having the dragon to her back was a bit unsettling, so Mimsy was relieved to find that nobody seemed mad at her. Kettil even said as much - double reassurance!
