The variation in creatures had shifted again. Still half deaf in one ear from a banshee attack she was now cornered by a beast with mutiple tendrils extending from its back.
"H-hey now big buddy no reason to be upset." She shifted for her gun. Snapping it up firing off at the creature driving it back.

The beast however didn't seem to take kindly to Sammy attacking her. She wasn't having any luck, the beast had gotten hold of her with its tendrils and was taking its time smashing her into the floor, a wall, the floor, and guess what? Another harsh slam caused Sammy to burst into life again Scrambling in the creatures grasp she gasped for air and her weapon grabbign the small gun before stuffing it into the monsters waiting mouth firing round after round. It seemed the fog was crawling with beasts West had never seen before. He did know the ghoul who was fighting this strange tail-eating monster, however, so instead of simply watching the thing, he approached it and took a slice, hoping to distract it so she could strike again. Sammy kicked the monster away from her leveling her gun again West had joined in once more smashing the monster off of her causing it to whimmper in confusion and pain.

The beast was dead and Sammy turned to look at West scowling as she gathered her loot, "Not you, that thing you just killed. It just tried to pull some defenseless puppy crap after it spent a good minute smashing my around like a rag doll."
She pointed her gun at the dissipating creature moving it's death along with a few more shots. "I hope I never run into one of those again..."
