Emery had only just finished with the Hydra, it felt like, and she heard another familiar hiss. She froze, grimacing, but following the hiss was foul, violet smoke. Not a hydra, then. She turned a corner slowly, and froze when she saw the dragon, staring. Well. At least it wasn't a hydra.

After righting herself and getting the wyrm out into the open, Emery shot both guns straight for it, grinning slightly at the shrill shriek from the beast before it swung its tail at her, sending the girl flying back a few yards. Before she could fire off another round, the wyrm managed to snap at her, sending her scrambling backwards quickly to get away from the teeth, tripping and yelping as she landed hard on her ankle. She lost one of her guns, but given the close proximity, managed to shoot the beast in the snout, sending it back and giving her the opportunity to bolt away, snatching up her second gun quickly.

Emery straightened up as she got the second gun, and aimed them both, landing a couple shots before the wyrm came at her again, wings flapping and tail swinging to knock her guns away. She yelped, swearing, and scrambled away, snatching one gun up and running for the second.

As Emery scrambled to retrieve her second gun, she aimed half-heartedly, firing off a few rounds and barely glazing the great purple-grey dragon, before she dove and caught the second gun. She rolled, grunting as she landed on her knees hard, and straightened up, guns at the ready.
"Come on, then!" She snarled a little, waiting as it charged at her.

As the wyrm charged at her, Emery fired the guns off, one after the other, watching as the bullets tore through the dragon. With a shrill cry, it stumbled and fell, taking Emery down with it. She managed to scramble free, worse for the wear for her trouble, but the wyrm wasn't getting up any time soon.
At least, not well.

Emery was exhausted, but so was the beast. She could see it in the way it swayed, and grinned slightly in spite of her injuries. She raised one of the guns, eyes narrowing as she levelled it at the creature, and shot once.
Just once.
That's all it took.
The wyrm crumbled, shaking the ground as it hit it, and Emery grinned wide, straightening up some and venturing forward. Triumph!

After the wyrm dropped into the dusty street, Emery went forward carefully, rooting through for her loot and procuring a violet moon. Grinning, she pocketed it, and went on her merry way.
