Nanao punched it, but it didn't do any good. In fact, she only ended up hurting herself. She winced, fanned her fist around, and bit her lip in response. "What the hell is this thing?!" As far as Nanao could tell, it was a knotted mass of a creature that wasn't anywhere near as solid as she was. Then, tangled beast whipped her with its knot-like appendages. She just couldn't figure out why its attacks hurt her so badly. She punched it twice to little effect. It felt like she was just scratching against the surface. Nanao back kicked the tangled beast. She couldn't see where she hit it, but she could feel that she did something. More than when she was slapping it, at least. Nanao felt rather embarrassed for having to resort to an inoffensive ability. She didn't feel as good as new, but she didn't feel any worse either. Rushing from the fog, the hellhound moved with speed toward the fog-creature. "What do you think you're doing? You should have a weapon!" He cried as he darted past the female. He had fought without a weapon and knew how it was. However, the Goddesses had conferred to all without a weapon a weapon to defend and fight. The attack landed perfectly and the scythe wielder evaded the attack with ease, allowing a moment for another attack before backing away to safety. Tenko72 You should have gotten a 'free weapon'. Though he managed a good attack, it didn't stop the thing from doing just as much to him. Shaking off the attack, he prepared for another go, always keep moving... keep moving and look for openings and take it. With a roar, the hellhound let loose a flurry of attacks, taking a powerful hit strong enough to send him flying... if it weren't for his blade catching and pulling away from the creature's side during the process.
