Persephone was beginning to think she had a vaguely suicidal streak, because upon sensing a rather powerful Chaos signature, instead of running as fast as she could in the other direction, she began to approach. She was curious, and as long as she was polite, she really hoped this would be more like her second encounter with Leto - a conversation about the merits of Chaos.
She was curious. The entire thing had been sitting with her since that talk. Sure, Order was lovely - but Chaos seemed to come with an incredible, indelible certainty that she admired endlessly. And someone so powerful might even just brush her off as utterly nonthreatening and be more willing to talk. Right? Right?

He had a notebook in hand, mundane really, the black and white ‘marbled’ cover familiar from almost anyone’s days of schooling, or any other number of tasks that might be completed over the faded blue lines and cheep paper. The booklet snapped shut with a small ‘clap’ of air as he pulled the pen away, again, mundane… bic with a neat blue cap that he stuffed the small brassy tip back into before hooking the prong over his notebook. He turned towards her with the casual air of a stretching cat, but his eyes were the part that showed that light, predatory glint. “Super.” He mused, glancing you overhead to foot. “And yet, you approach, and have done so alone.” A statement of the obvious perhaps, but perhaps more than that, a last chance to get away, or just more ‘notes’ done by voice rather than hand? “Is this a misguided hope for revenge, part of some bait to lure me somewhere or did you have a purpose approaching me so boldly?”

Persephone was oddly both thrown and reassured by the sight of that little marble composition book. It was, weirdly, a reminder that under the overwhelming chaotic aura, there was a real person there. A human like her - maybe not even all that much older.
"I'm curious, actually. I've never been near someone as strong as you." Persephone said. "I'm Sailor Persephone," she curtsied to him, a bit of an effort in her short skirt, but worth it for feeling gracefully polite.

He laughed, tipping his chin up for a moment. “No one at all?” He mused and tilted his head slightly , eyeing her as though he was searching for something in her face or bearing. “Not even one of your Order ‘Royalty?’ He rolled the r slightly when he mentioned the order Royalty, a sort of small amusement there. “Or have you simply not met them?” He brushed a finger over his chin, probably his lips as well, despite the mask that obscured a large portion of his features. “Curious to meet you Sailor Persephone, I see your name is at least somewhat indicative of a tie to Pomegranates, is that… what you represent?”

She frowned. "Add 'we have royalty' to the list of things nobody really bothered to tell me," she grumbled, and then she sighed a little. "I've never met one, no," she clarified. "Pretty sure I'd remember that."
She knew Eternal Senshi, but no one who had ever claimed a royal title. "Are you Chaos Royalty then?" She asked, curious. "And, um, yeah, pomegranates are my...sphere, or whatever." And totally useless in a fight, which was absolutely super.

He gave a clipped laugh. “Something like it I suppose, I am General-King in Rank.” “The prefix makes a difference to me, it makes it different from simply calling ourselves prince, or princess. Though your own feelings on the matter will obviously come into play.”
He shifted his footing, eyeing you still, “Mm… Interesting sphere. I have a hard time imagining what you could do with it I admit, though I’ve seen some rather creative… expounding on the roots of a senshi’s power source. Should I be worried that I’ll be dragged into some rift like you’d be trying to pull me to hades?”

"General-King, huh?" Persephone tilted her head to the side. "Feels like there's a little more asskicking involved in a title like that. Er, pardon my language." Was he morally opposed to swearing? If so, she was in trouble.
She actually outright laughed at the idea of opening up a rift below him. "Oh, god, no, I wish I could do something like that." She shook her head. Mirth aside, though, if she could do something like that, maybe she could have stopped Bischofite... "No, I'm entirely support."

“Oh?” He tipped his head. “Well, then I suppose there is no true harm in talking to you for a while.” There was a warm tone in his voice, or amused. “So… how exactly does…” He brushed off the edge of the roof and sat down, all casual and friendly. “A…pomegranate, support. Pardon me for asking but, I do find the nature of senshi so curious.”

Persephone took a seat as well, and she shrugged. "Energy, and a little healing," she said. She perked up a little. "The healing's new, and was pretty timely, actually." Was she telling him too much? It wasn't as if she gave some massive tactical advantage. "I'd show you but we're still technically enemies and all that."

He laughed and shook his head. “Thank you, I have nothing to heal anyhow and to be honest, I’d rather you not try and –do- me an injury in order to prove myself.” There was a droll tone in his voice. “I talk with a surprising number of you actually, and they have walked away safe again, are you still so worried? Or do you think my words will kill you?”

"I've seen less powerful officers than you reach into people's chests and just...yank out their starseeds and then they die." She made a hand gesture along with her words, and shuddered. "Pretty sure that it's reasonable for me to be scared when you could, at any time, theoretically decide to be a good evil overlord and kill me before I have the chance to become a threat." She shrugged. "Not that I think you will, per se, any more than I think Chaos is pure evil mustache-twirling villains; most of you seem like pretty okay people." Which definitely didn't help with her own confusion. Order people seemed decent enough too. They were just...people. "And Chaos really has its s**t together, which I can't say for Order if what I've heard is true."

“I’ve seen order senshi torture Negaverse officers, including Generals, kill a General king, feed their toes to…rats, kill them with some flying glass spell, a maze that tried to kill us, wheat that tore one of my lieutenants hands open. Men who changed into burning leopards who tore my shoulders open and then burned the bleeding results. I think we all have reasons to –fear- so long as we choose to fight. The difference is, the whole of the Negaverse banded together to find our missing officers. “So…yes, I could say we definitely ‘have our s**t together’.” He rolled his shoulders in a small shrug.

Persephone's stomach lurched a little at the mention of torture. "Leto, of the Dark Mirror, told me about that, about the awful things the White Moon did." It seemed to her that all things considered, everyone had weights on the scale of atrocities. War really was hell. "That must be nice. To not bicker with each other. Albali said that was all the White Moon ever did, and I believe her. I mean, sure, the cat that awakened me was cute and fluffy and all, but...she couldn't even tell me the right transformation phrase. I can't think good things about the state of Order when that's what I get."

“Oh we are human enough, there are bickering’s, but, over all most of us can manage to be both civil and respectful.” He smiled, a small thing but authentic. “I’m sorry to hear about the Cat, I wonder sometimes if they aren’t as wet behind the ears as so many senshi around here. When I find a senshi…first, I still have to call a cat as well. I can only name officers with any authority to speak of.

Persephone nodded slowly. People were people, military order or not, she supposed.
"So cats are necessary to find a Senshi's planet name, no matter what?" She asked. she was genuinely curious. "You can't just...tell? But for officers you can? I'm sorry, I don't mean to ask so many questions, I just want to understand." She was so curious about every aspect of this war.
