The budget on this was really high quality. Marzena, or rather Sylvia Summers, mused. They were just shooting this scene again. Did they really need to bring out some special effects, with that weird red spirit whatever thing?
This wasn't in the script at all. She was just improvising at this point.

Erebus, the magical boy with puppy powers, was determined that the journey would succeed, for justice! Of course, it was pretty sad when one of his comrades fell, and they had to take cover, but he swore he would avenge his sacrifice.

Vaith, Aisa and Saya were walking in a crew since they had just finished the last run before. They were arguing as usual, Aisa and Vaith with the teary Saya between them. Vaith was trying to console Saya at the same time but with Aisa occasionally saying the killing remark, it was hard.

The shadows were as stupidly enthusiastic as usual, even as Marzena tossed a rock to show them how their route forward was blocked by traps.
Erebus attempted to dissuade one who volunteered to have the honor of leading them, but failed. Tragically.

Again, Saya started crying when a npc left. She didn't handle death well, especially when the npc gave her candy.
Meanwhile Vaith sorta looked to the side and Aisa thought death was inevitable.

"We're gonna need someone brave enough." Marzena crossed her arms impatiently and stared at the remaining shadows.
