Ellie kept her intents a secret from all in the household. No Mauvian or recently purified senshi were following her on the task she had set up for herself. In fact, the one she intended to talk to was at work, and the blonde merely hung out, waiting to catch her teammate.

At the moment Ellie seemed like a cool customer, standing outside the building, one boot kicked up against the bricks behind her, both arms behind her head as she stood there.

She just needed her leather jacket and her bike there and the image would have been complete.

...What is taking her so damned long... Is she trying to get overtime or something?
PostPosted: Wed Aug 21, 2013 7:19 am

Yes Evie wanted overtime, damn it. She usually picked up extra shifts that came along and desperately worked her butt off. Her father's modest income was usually cycled back into the charities and organizations it came from besides the bare necessities and while they got a hefty pension from her mother's service, Evie's expenses and her school tuition were her own.

However, it was usually the late night shifts that she nabbed because during the day, there was competition and given how much overtime she already had on her docket, she was sent home.

Luckily for Ellie. Sullen, annoyed and frazzled, Evie exited the back, too absorbed with packing and walking to notice her teammate. Or maybe that was willful, wishful thinking.

Once Ellie saw a bit of movement and familiar shade of hair towards the employee exit, the tomboy rather quickly henshined up in the alleyway.

It wouldn't be a secret to Evie, if only because the blonde had to call out "Iris Eternal, Make-UP!"

However, once she was in her yellow fuku, her teammate didn't stand a chance. The eternal senshi rushed her quite quickly and soon enough had latched onto the other tall girl's arm, twisting it back behind her to try and prevent her from fleeing.

"...I need t'borrow ya..." she offered as an explanation before her senshi phone seemed to appear in her gloved free hand.

Being grabbed in an alleyway was rarely pleasant, and knowing it was not a mugger was debatable not a relief. Just because she knew it was ********," The vulger stream continued well past that as she tried to struggle, but she was no match for an eternal senshi, especially without her pen.

"What are you doing, Iris?!" She screeched. "I don't want to talk to you!"

Despite the protests, Iris closed her eyes and was somehow able to block out the outcries and struggles from the one she had technically ambushed.

Within a moment or two, the pair soon enough seemed to vanish from their spot in the alleyway, leaving a few confused coworkers blinking as they stepped outside to find nobody there.

However, for the pair, it wasn't so much they had disappeared, but rather they had relocated.

For Evie, it would not be a familiar sight, but for the senshi, it was a place that held many fond memories for her. The landscape was quite barren, covered in dark sands and the occasional ruined remains of ancient vehicles. It seemed as if the sun was low in the sky, but there was still a rather intense heat making the environment of the location obvious.

They were in a desert.

Now that they had arrived, the blonde released Evie's arm with a small shove. "Don't care... I need t'talk to ya... I just needed t'take ya someplace where nobody else could bother us..."

Glancing away and bringing her hands behind her head, she mentioned "...so go ahead and make yerself as comfortable as ya can... th'temperature will get cooler soon enough..."

Where Homeworld Eunomia was bitterly cold with frightening drop off into the abyss, Iris was hot and covered in sand, but she hated both not-earth locations just the same.

"s**t," She broke the brief moment of silence where her brains rebooted with that screech. "Where are we? What the ******** did you do? Take me back!"

At first she was going to give a shitty remark about how she didn't want to talk to her. But she realized that probably wasn't going to help her if Iris felt like she had to kidnap her off the planet to listen.

"We can talk on earth you psycho."

Yes that was much more open and understanding.

There was not a cloud in the sky, which was the typical weather of this world, since there was no natural source of water for such a formation to grow from. Iris continued to look away, but her ears did work plenty well.

As did her mouth.

"Took ya to a place where I used t'live... maybe someday it might look familiar to ya... but I doubt it will any time soon..."

With a heaved sigh and a shake of the head, she finally seemed to acknowledge Evie with her eyes as well, turning to glance at her. "I am guessin' yer lookin' fer a name fer this place...."

She rolled her wrist and gestured to the wondrously barren ruins as if trying to introduce a performance piece. "Welcome to the Asteroid, Iris."

The blonde seemed to follow her own advise, settling down in the sand and laying back.

"...There are a couple reasons why yer wrong... One... I figgered you were gonna freak out and cause a scene or try an' run off... which... um... yeah..." It didn't need to go mentioned that Evie was proving that suspicion completely correct at the moment.

"...and two... I don't want th'cat t'hear what I am talkin' to ya 'bout..."
PostPosted: Sat Aug 24, 2013 9:36 pm

Evie's expression twisted through several different version of offended before she extended her arms in both directions as if to gesture to the entire asteroid. "Maybe I'm just not very receptive now, because you kidnapped me to a freakin' planet-- asteroid-- ******** kicked up a bunch of sand in her frustration. "I don't like these places. I don't like space. I want to go back to Earth..." She sounded almost sad and pleading. "Wha... what don't you want the cat to hear?"

What could possibly be so important? And secretive?

Sailor Iris was just laying there, letting Evie go through all her emotions. It was actually amusing to watch the darker haired girl's face twist up in so many different ways. However, once she seemed to finally slow down and gain slight control of her mood, the blonde finally spoke up again from her spot in the sand.

"...have you been to your own world already then?"

Her eyes closed as she seemed to think over something silently for a bit. As far as Iris could remember, there were similarities in how Eunomia's asteroid and Iris' asteroid functioned. However, there were drastic differences too.

"...what was it ya didn't like? Th'fact it isn't a living world anymore?"

It seemed as if Iris was ignoring the prompt about the cat, however, the eternal senshi was biding her time for now. It wasn't like Evie could go anywhere off this rock without the blonde's cooperation.

Evie huffed and crossed her arms, conceding to hostile, but conversational small talk.

"Once. With *********. I don't care if it's alive or not, it's a creepy mind ********," She hadn't even managed a full memory out of the ordeal, only a feeling.

"It's pointless anyway. This, all of this. Just because it happened however long ago doesn't mean we have to sit here and ruminate over a bunch of dead rocks with no more purpose."

Iris let out an easy-going laugh. Her lips curled in a knowing smile as she remained with her eyes shut. However, it seemed as if she was at least willing to share what was humoring her.

"Ain't surprised th'cat did that... and I ain't surprised yer as narrow-minded as the Eunomians too. Doesn't matter how many years have passed, yer still quite the same."

However, her reason for bringing Evie here was not to take a trip down memory lane. With that, the opened her eyes and finally seemed to sit up again, stretching her arms over her head.

"...I mean, once ya get past that front door, it's kinda cozy... but whatever... I guess yer ol' mountain tunnels would probably scare anybody away."

Once she finished stretching, she rolled her shoulder a bit. "...enough of that... Anyways... the cat told me about that sh*t that went down with yer sister..."

She leaned her head to one side, popping her neck slightly. The blonde didn't sound very sympathetic when she uttered "...sucks balls I guess..."

Evie seemed a lot less manic and worked up, but it certainly wasn't any more positive. She watched Iris flaunt her stupid unfair princess knowledge and stared a quiet, angry stare.

Nothing explosive, but there was a simmering bitterness there.

"The doors are sealed," She stated, and in the back of her mind she was slowly piecing together the mental ******** that had hit her one her homeworld. "When the doors are sealed it's a tomb, not a city."

That's where the dread came from, she realized. The feelings just came before she could cohesively figure out the information. The fact Iris clued her in to the fact it was a city at some point helped as well.

"What's your point?"

With an open palm, she briefly mentioned "And this whole world is a graveyard." She supplied a half shrug before returning to what they were now discussing.

"...well... th'cat's under the impression that ya quit the team because of that sh*tfest."

She heaved out a huge forced sigh, sounding rather exasperated.

"...ya got really crappy timing fer this... jus' sayin'... because I wanted t'ask ya somethin'... and... well... if yer gonna selfishly stop doin' th'senshi thing... well... it won't do me any good... hell... it won't do anybody on th'team any good!"

She turned away, slightly agitated, as if trying to clear her head by looking over the barren landscape.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 01, 2013 10:44 pm

"Well I did," Evie said with a flippant shrug. "It's not fair to ask her to quit if I'm not willing to do it myself."

She rolled her eyes with all the physically possible force she could muster. "Don't call me selfish, you dumb b***h," She countered defensively. "People have lives outside the team. Important ones. Why should we have to give them up to fight some pointless war? Why should Lydia have to worry about dying in an alleyway more than the bullshit gossip at Crystal? Why should I have to mortgage my future to make time fighting monsters or risk my sister going out and turning into youma food or getting corrupted or anything else?"

Iris closed her eyes as Evie attempted to make her point across. However, when she asked her question about the risks, serious gold eyes were upon Evie. Her eyes locked with the dark blue ones just across from her, and they weren't budging.

"You started much later in the senshi thing than me... so you probably aren't aware of how little neutrality buys you in this 'pointless' war. Staying hidden as a civilian doesn't mean anything. The General King Charonite..."

She couldn't help but realize it had been a while since she had heard that name.

"...used to run the show, and the mission he gave the Negaverse was to steal starseeds. It didn't matter who you got it from. The civilians that they claim to be protecting? They were lambs to the slaughter at the hands of the Negaverse. Even without the fuku, you, your sister, and Lydia... you all would have still been at risk. And ya never know if the Negaverse will change back to those tactics again."

She finally broke her gaze into the other girl's eyes to look over the dark sanded landscape once more. She didn't say it nearly as loud, but she couldn't help but utter out a reminder to herself. "...the fate of this asteroid was the result of neutrality..." All wars had their casualties, and the asteroid of Iris had merely been a casualty of war. If she ever needed a reason to stand up and fight, she could always remember that lesson from the past.

...Not that it was so relevant to Evie right now. "...look... forcin' neutrality on everyone is just as dangerous as... no... it's more dangerous than fightin' actively... no henshin... you take away a person's ability t'defend themselves..."

She narrowed her eyes as she still remained attentive to the scenery. "...either way, it's yer call what ya do... I can't make ya henshin... I just wanted ya t'know that I wanted you as my successor... not that it's gonna do much good now if ya decide yer not gonna be a senshi anymore..."
