The red tangled beast slithered toward him, billowing smoke in all directions. Clearly it was out for blood, and he and Agsil were about to match it tooth-for-blade.
"E're goes nothing!"
Not being much of a leaping man, he pulled both sinewy arms back behind his head and with all his strength threw the large axe into the air, tomahawk-style. Amazingly, the blade landed directly above the beasts right eye and sunk firmly into it's flesh. The Red Wyrm screamed and thrashed it's head about it anger-- flinging the weapon to the ground some distance away.
Two red eyes met his glowering eye + eyeball. Running as fast as a zombie could hope to run - he more or less gimped rapidly in the direction of his fallen blade, in hopes of avoiding the flame fueled breath of the beast as it wound it's head back for what he could only guess was a giant flaming fireball of his worst nightmares....
"Agsil!" Was all he could manage to croak before leaping for his only weapon in the dust.

That was the general slew of events that unfolded as Agsilved soared through the air. Low to the ground, examining what she could of the land. She'd watched as a familiar cold and pink figure ambled around. Began to fight against what she vaguely considered a very distant cousin to her kind. She'd barely avoided getting his weapon wedged into her flesh, though her snarl and roar was enough to divert it's attention from the corpse to her.
Just in time for her to slash her black claws through the gash he'd already made in the creature's skull. While the thing had attacked her back, swinging it's great tail into her side and knocking the wind from her, she still managed to land mostly on her feet. Landing in a way that almost seemed to make her crouch over Chains, wings arched defensively while a low hiss vibrated through her form.
"I assume you are not damaged more than you already are?" Without really looking at him--keeping her eyes on their opponent--she offered him her hand to help him up.

The Red Wyrm reared its ugly head again this time swinging its fleshy tail in Chains direction, perhaps expecting to finish him off right there. He dragged the axe off the ground and into his possession, brandishing it in just enough time to hold up his blade where his head might have been and the tail whipped past him. Flung back to ground again he was bruised up a bit - though hard to tell by looking at him.
He looked up from his position in the dirt just in time to see another dragon diving toward his form like a vulture to roadkill. A slight feeling of Oh s**t ran through him before he relized what it was.
And he couldn't be more relieved that it was Agsil, an ink based dragon and not the fire-breathing tryingtokillyou variety flinging the aforementioned tails and fireballs.
"No, I'm just tenderized. Thanks." He replied dryly, dusting himself off.
