Sammy was guilty this time, she had gone off after a Wyrm instead of sticking with West, she had back tracked to the area where they had fought the phantom blade earlier and was waiting on a rock when a familiar voice called out.
Are you a Hero? Or a fallen Warrior?
The problem? The voice was right behind her as the sword smashed into the ground she was sitting on sending her rolling.

sammy pouted the whole time, West was crushing the phantom blade and she hadn't even been able to see the stupid thing coming.

"So you went to grab a few more?" She looked at the sword, then at West then at the sword. "Aw and here I was hopping big bad West would be the hero." She grinned lifting her gun placing it flat against the phantom blade before unloading a series of shots into it.

He grinned and started to laugh as Sammy shot the misty sword at point blank range, following her fire with a slice of his own that might have been a little too exuberant. The sword shattered in a mess of tears, and West picked up a few when he was sure the thing was dead. "Yeah. Well, no. Sammy acutally laughed as he shattered the squirming blade under his over powered swing. She rested easily on her seat of a rock again scooping up a few tears of her own once more.
"So then we agree, we both liked fighting, and we like it now. Question is what are we even fighting for besides bigger toys to hit things even harder? To open that big fancy chest? What's the point of it all?"

He shrugged. It was a question he had asked himself a number of times since he had woken up, but one he still had no answer to. "I'm not sure," he said, sobering slightly. "I just wanna make sure I protect myself." His memories had told him there was a need.
