The mare wanted a weapon, needed one, and the only way to get one was by fighting monsters and earning spoils. So she would fight monsters, and she would earn her spoils. It felt odd not having something in her hand as she struck at at the banshee, but she would fix that, soon. She was so thrown by the dog ghoul jumping in so suddenly and unexpectedly that her next blow barely brushed the banshee and she got a nice clawed hand to the face in return. Still, had to admire the other girl's enthusiasm.
