The chest had been tempting. Sitting tucked away in a corner a small chain on its side practically leading to its contents inside begging her to open it. She hadn't encountered a mimic before, not even in her memories so imagine her surprise when it leaped into action mouth open wide eager to devour her.

Back peddling quickly she drew her weapon firing off shots into the strange monster.

Two others fell into place against the beast, one with a strange tail and the other, the other a dog boy. A magical girl dog boy. Still something about the later made her simply want to smoother him in pets and hugs even in the middle of a fight.
She turned back to the monster yelping as it took a swipe at her, the resulting shot back at it only grazing.

Clara had seen the glowing chest filled with treasure, but when she got a closer look, it seemed to have teeth. You can only use this ONCE per encounter. Once you have used it to revive, you cannot use any other abilities (weapon, species, special) period for the entire encounter, including any that double HP, etc etc. You can only auto attack after revival. Species Ability: Ghost: Your first three battles will yield you double the drop. If you get final kill, it still only gives you x2 drops, not x4. Being a magical boy meant that he had fought all sorts of monsters but a talking head? And it was of someone he was battling besides? Erebus was really quite confused. What could it mean?
Note to self: stay away from talking head in case it was the product of some evil magical power. It wasn't long after his first fight with one of the box things that he came upon another, this one surrounded by a small group of people he didn't recognize at all... no, wait. Turning back to the fight at hand she raised her gun when a hailstorm of fire rang out behind her.
She turned her eyes going wide, the ground was frosted, the air was cold. It smelled of ginger bread and blood. She was more then halfway into the grave and so was he.
"W-west!?" The name caused a flurry of emotions as she turned back to the mimic raising her own gun, marching forward cracking off a series of shots.
