Bullets pelleted the creature, and somehow Wash felt he knew who it was before he turned, a radiant smile on his face. He turned back to the screeching thing and swung at it again with renewed vigor.  Sasha holstered her weapons, a smile toying with the curve of her lips. She knelt and picked up a glittering gold seal, testing the weight of it in her hand before tossing it to Wash. "Hello, Wash." She picked up a second gold seal and pocketed it. "You're stuck with me, I hope you realize."

Wash nabbed it - just barely, and tossed it in the air, catching it and stowing it away with a slow grin. "Awww, shucks, that ain't so bad. I seem to remember -" he began, moving closer, until he was just shy of touching her, "we used t'have a lot o' fun." There was a heat in his eyes that had nothing to do with their battle.
