Dustin had been moving a lot in the past year. In his old identity, he moved from the main house of the Van Hootensburg estate to the two bedroom guest house...and since losing his identity, he hopped from place to place. First he was with Tag Swagger, then Alexandre Evans, then he was mostly living on the streets and crashing at stranger's places each night for shelter and robbing them in the morning. Then he lived with Chase Black for a few months before finally getting his own place. Yet there was stuff left behind at each place he stayed, and one place he was hesitant to return to - Alexandre's.

His last interaction with the boy wasn't so great, and he wasn't eager to pretend to make friends again just to pick up his stuff. Instead, he opted for breaking in.

What other choice did he have?

The bluenette teen approached one of the windows of the home from the outside and started to pry it open, but it took several attempts before he was successful - and unfortunately created a great deal of noise. It was late at night, so he was hoping everyone was asleep and wouldn't have heard him - or hear him as he crept started to climb through the window to search the house.
