Zia let out a frustrated yell of anguish as she hunched over a crumpled stack of notes on a park bench. She was having a frustrating night trying to keep her two projects organized and just looking at the language project she shared with Aquarius made her head spin.
She looked pretty normal, except she had chosen the area to linger because of it's common choice on everyone's patrol radar which was usually not recommended for civilians. She hadn't sent out an energy flare, because as usual, Zia didn't know what the ******** she was doing just yet.
Except scattering and crumpling notes in a rage because nothing was making sense.

"Hmm?" Medea caught heard of the yell and rushed in its direction. Did a youma or agent endanger yet another innocent? She hoped she wasn't too late!
If she found a youma, she would charm it to dust!
And if it were an agent, well...
She would charm him or her into submission! Yeah! No one could resist her winky winky sparkle smile attack! Who cared if they almost killed her?
NOT MEDEA.
Flustered and smiling, she stopped before the bench--for once excited to fight because she would surprise the enemy. She smiled at the young woman. "Hello there! Did you yell? Is there evil afoot? How may I help you in the name of JUSTICE?"

"Hmm?" Zia stiffly raised her head from the exaggerated way she was hunched over her notes, which had come to the point she had her face pressed against papers in her lap.
She should've predicted it when she heard the chipper voice shouting for JUSTICE, but she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow and the colorful, sparkly girl in front of her.
"Aaaaw, aren't you cute!" She gushed with renewed enthusiasm as she got up and hopped on the back of the bench.
"No, I'm not being attacked. Except by terrible language idiosyncrasies. Are you new? What's your name? What's your sphere?"

"HEY!" Medea smiled to show her jest. "They're idiosyncrasies because they're clear and true! And thank you, kind lady! My name's Medea, and sphere...I guess Enchantment? That's what they told me when I started!"
She plopped on the bench. The lady's light purple hair reminded her of sunset and lavender. Clearly, the woman knew about Senshi, or else, how would she know each commanded a unique power source? Additionally, she even knew a term by which to categorize said power sources: Spheres.
"I'm very new," she said, and she lowered her voice as if to tell a great secret. "And to be honest most of the time, I'm terrified, but it's becoming easier as I meet people.

Zia tilted her head to the side. Enchantment? Well scratch off that possibility for Sparklepants' sphere possibility, it obviously belonged to this lady.
"Well you look very intact. I can't sense your aura in this form, but you look positively uncorrupted and purely White Moon so that's a good start," She said with a nod.
The question about whether she was a senshi or not drew a grimace. "No, not a senshi or a knight or a nega agent. So I usually don't worry about it!"
She was as chipper as she could be for someone who had a crescent moon burned into their chest.
She reached to to immediately violate Medea's personal boundaries in typical Zia-introduction fashion. "Your hair is very pretty," Seemed innocent enough, "And you should be terrified. What if I was something horrible like a mirror senshi or a negaverse officer? If I was up to nefarious deeds, I could kill you on the spot right here you're so close."

"Oh! Is there a way to identify factions on sight? That would be extremely useful." The lady seemed so knowing. "I'm sorry to push, but how do you know so much about Senshi? Are you afraid of terrorism? I don't think we'd hurt you."
The grimace unnerved Medea, though. Did she say something wrong? She brought her hand to her lips. Note: Don't talk about lady's alignment.
The comment about her hair, however, brought a smile to Medea's face. She swung her legs and said, "Thank you, kind lady! Umm...the Mirror People and Negaverse People don't seem terrible! One Mirror Lady I met became my instant friend and..." She leaned closer in case someone could hear. "...I kind of have a thing for one of the officers, and well, trouble in general." She pulled back. "But don't tell, okay? I'm trying to get over it, you know, for the greater good.
"Besides! Friends close and enemies closer, amiright?"

"Ooooh," Zia was overwhelmed by the urge to grab Medea and squish her and cuddle her and never let her out into the wild again.
"That's too complicated. Some of them will kill you on the spot. Some of them are very nice! Some of them are nice because they just want your starseed. So sometimes it's best to run in the other direction if they try to stick your hand in your chest or take you to mirrorspace. Second base with a Negaverser is usually dangerous," Sometimes Zia couldn't tell if she was jokingly deadpan or serious and just derpy.
"You should have a sixth sense. For sensing auras. I don't have one, and I'm not projecting an aura, but the Negaverse and the Mirror court should feel... bad."
When Medea leaned in to share and pulled back, Zia responded by leaning towards her to maintain the closeness. "Ooooo, who?"
Because this was totally a slumber party and they were here to talk about these things.
"I have a crush on an officer named Painite, but sometimes she's cranky and things get stabbity," She laughed, and sat up, leaned back, and tugged her jeans a bit on the side to show off the spear scars on her hip.

Medea laughed. Ohhh this lady seemed just too funny. She brushed back a strand of hair and said, "Is that because they rip out your soul or something? I mean, that's just what I hear..."
She blushed when the stranger drew closer and playfully, frantically waved her away. "Oh no! It's so embarrassing! And we're not supposed to like people on the opposite side!" She pressed her hands to her cheeks. "He's just a Captain...with fiery red hair and eyes like a rose." She sighed. "But what if we never meet again?"
"Oh my!" She drew her attention to Zia's scar. "A lover's quarrel I see?" She grinned. "What did you do?"
She needed the stranger's name! Maybe they could fight evil together! Maybe they could talk about crushes! Her eyes sparkled with excitement.
"What's your name, by the way?"

"Well... yes, your soul. Your starseed, it's just above your heart," Zia said, being invasive as usual and gently touching a finger to where it supposedly was on Medea.
"No, I guess not, but how are you going to convince them to purify themselves of all that Chaos in them if you don't talk to them? And I have found people are much easier to talk to when you like them. They are usually less likely to bite back like rabid dogs too," She stopped and looked forward into space with a thoughtful 'hmm' sound, trying to recall any captains she'd met with red hair.
Nope. None came to mind.
"Oh, I interrupted her," She said, snapping back to the scar, "When she was hunting. She is on this kick about not being friends with me anyway. Must be ruining her reputation or something. Realgar is much nicer about the whole thing. Ah," She stuck out a hand to shake, being reminded of introductions. "I'm Zee."

"Purify?" Medea's eyes widened. "You mean...we can turn people from the Negaverse too?"
This changed everything.
This made her crushes on agents of chaos okay.
Maybe it didn't justify her flirting with them, but there stood a chance that she could convert her allies of the opposing faction and not only avoid being chastised for communicating with those allies, but be rewarded for swaying them.
Realgar.
She would have to remember that name. Maybe she could help him if they ran into each other? Zia seemed to find him receptive, and Zia seemed like a good judge of character for Zia liked her, and she thought she had fine character!
"Mmm...Zee?" Medea poked her finger. "Do you want me to find Painite for you? If she's not nice and stabbed you..I mean, I'm not like OP or anything, but maybe I could help?"
She looked at Zia with eyes that screamed, "Let me help you!"

"Well," Zia shrugged and shifted a bit. "There's a bit more to it. You can't just ask them to quit. The Negaverse controls and powers them by infecting their starseed with chaos. They will be influenced by it until you find a princess to purify it out of them, and it's a very painful, ugly process."
She flopped her head back over the back of the bench. "And that's just the negaverse and their corrupted senshi. The mirror people are a different breed. You should just avoid them entirely."
She didn't look at the pretty senshi's eyes when she offered to help with Painite and a lazy, poorly aimed hand flopped out to pat her in the general head/face range. "No, sweety. Painite is a general, with a spear. And she will kill you."
She sat back upright and held out a stern finger to emphasize her point."Do not ever try to fight Painite."
She might have volitile and angry shouting matches with the woman that occasionally devolved to stabbing, but the amount of friends she had nearly killed was a steadily rising count.
"I am fine, though, I've been futzing around in your silly little war thing for a few years. That's how I got all of this," She pulled her phone out of her jean pocket and pulled up the pokedex. Her collection of several knights and a paltry two negas, but it would grow. "Valhalla is my oldest entry, Realgar is my newest, but I only recently tried going after negas."

"I want to help youuu!" Medea said as Zia's palm pressed against her face. "What should I dooo?"
Painite couldn't be that powerful, right? Maybe Medea could help with the index? Maybe she could watch crappy movies with Zia to take her mind off work? Her friend seemed stressed, and stressed people didn't work as effectively as relaxed people!
"Oh my!" Medea's eyes widened when Zia pulled out the phone. "Zee, you are so popular! You should never be alone on a Friday night!" Hmm. She hadn't heard of a knight before "Zia, what are knights? Also will I go in there?" She gestured to the phone.
Maybe she was a knight, too? Zia could teach her so much!

"Don't diiiiiiie," Zia responded, almost mimicking Medea's offer for help. She was simply more focused on the sparkly senshi not become a roasted enchantment kebob on a spear handle.
"Well thank you!" She chirped, scrolling through everything. "Oh, no, I only put knights in here. Oh, and negas now too. I only started putting knights in here because they were weird, but then I realized that it was silly to leave the Negaverse out since they're the same thing, just corrupted. In other universes, there are no knights or negas, so it is a unique variable in this universe alone."
She stopped and looked ahead at nothing in particular and frowned a weird little frown. "I suppose the Dark Mirror Court is unique to this universe as well but I see no need to document them. It would be as pointless as cataloging the youma."

"There are other universes?" Medea looked at Zia so confused and excited like a puppy scrambling through birthday presents. "Are you omniscient? How do you know these things? Are you a goddess?"
Oh man oh man oh man. Zia seemed so wise, but would she impart her knowledge?
Medea also felt confused about her description about the Dark Mirror Senshi, though, since they sounded like people just like her and Zia, and not like youma, which seemed incapable of feeling deep emotion.
She sighed. This felt like so much!
"Zee! How do you keep track of everything? Learning all of this seems so overwhelming!"

"There are an infinite number of universes existing side by side," Zia said as she swiped her fingers over the screen scrolling around through the information. However chipper or cheeky she seemed to be before seemed to flatten.
"The mirror people are just imitations created by a lonely senshi who missed her universe because she was stuck on the wrong side here. They're only puppets that look like humans. Little dolls."
She heaved her shoulders in a sigh and glanced up in thought for a small moment, before she tried to turn the happy back on like a switch, semi successfully.
"I know all the secrets of the universe," She bragged, "I'll tell you how if you buy me dinner."
