Guardians are children, ranging from the ages of fourteen to twenty-four, that are tasked with guarding the students at all times; whether it be from outside forces, other students, or even themselves. Every Guardian is a black belt in martial arts and is taught to wield at least one weapon. They follow their assigned students everywhere and always share a dorm with them; their freedom is based on the rank of their assigned student. Trusted greatly by the staff of the academy, they are not only guardians but act as intelligence, and are required to give a report on their student every month.
