After the first 'run in' with the Ayrala of the day, if one could really call it a run in since they had ignored him, it had taken some time before Tallulah was able to find more of them. It was another pair of them, a different pair he was assuming, this time with one of them perched on some rocks at the edge of the water while another made lazy circles overhead though not too far this time. It seemed as though if any of them were in a good enough position to battle with it would be these two. He could only hope that, were he to go after the one perching on the rocks, that the one hovering overhead would join the fray. It was a slightly risky strategy, but one that he was willing to test since he really did want to do his best to gather more and more of the orbs that these dragons dropped. The more he gathered the better and better a mood Eyphah seemed to be put in, as though Tallulah's efforts were really impressing the Diabi. He wasn't exactly sure why it was that he wanted so badly to impress him but he would continue to do so for as long as the Drakein was willing to train him. One had to impress their teacher after all, right? That was what Tallulah wanted most of all, to hear words of praise from the Diabi who had so often only pointed out his weaknesses and need for training. If he could hear some more kind words for him, well, that would make the Merkein's day.

Crouching low Tallulah keep a close eye on the two dragons, tail lashing from side to side, before he charged forward, throwing himself and his full weight into the side of the one perched on the rocks. The pair of them went down in a snarling heap of twisted limbs before he continued the attack, biting and clawing at any part of the Ayrala that he could reach. It seemed to be going well, the battle turning in his favor, and he was able to clamp his powerful jaws down on the throat of the Ayrala he was tussling with, ready to end this one... when the other one came crashing down on him. There was a lot of pain as the claws of the Ayrala dug into him, something that caused Tallulah to give a muffled roar of pain. The Merkein was quick to shake his head from side to side, snapping the neck of the Ayrala he was holding onto, causing it to start to fade away, before he rounded on the second one. It was a lot tougher to deal with this one, he'd been caught off guard, the thing was crushing down on him, it was making it more and more difficult to get in an attack... and he felt his legs wanting to give out on him. Not a good situation in the least bit. His eyes went to the water for a moment, wishing it was a bit closer as he was much faster when in the water... no luck though, it was so far away... and suddenly, as though Tallulah's desire for the water to be closer was brought to light, a vortex of water was suddenly baring down on them, entangling the Ayrala, dragging it up and away from the Merkein.

There was a moment where Tallulah could only stand there and watch in wide eyed awe... and it was this break in concentration that caused the spell to suddenly shatter, dropping the soaked, sputtering Ayrala to the ground, water splashing in all directions. He blinked a couple times, then charged, not wanting to let the opportunity pass him by. He wasn't sure exactly what had happened but he did know that now was the time to attack, to try to finish the dragon off while it was still weakened by that strange occurrence with the water. Just as with the previous Ayrala he was quick to snap his jaws shut on the weakened dragon's throat, snarling a little as he moved to finish this one off as quickly as he could. If he were to let the dragon recover at all the battle would be on again and given the wounds he had at the moment, wounds that were dripping blood, he didn't think that he was quite ready to get into another scuffle with the dragon quite yet. No, he had to finish it off as quickly as possible he thought to himself... and when it finally started to crumble away, leaving him standing there in a daze near two silvery orbs, Tallulah gave a sigh, "That was... that was rough..." He murmured, looking between his two orbs before slowly sinking down to the ground. He needed to collect those he thought to himself... maybe in a little bit. He was kind of exhausted at the moment, needed a moment to regain his composure and become once more ready to face off with more Ayrala.

It was as he was laying there, doing his best to continue, that Eyphah arrived. The Diabi starred down at him and the state he was in before trotting over, not saying a word to him as he set to licking Tallulah's wounds.
