Cassandra Clare is so good at her work, they've turned the first into a movie.
City of Bones introduces the reader to "Shadowhunters", half angelic mortals who duke it out with demons and other such dangerous creatures from the Downworld.
I've been pressured to read this twice now, and the trailer looked appealing. The book itself seems interesting enough with or without the movie. I've only completed 100 pgs in 3 days, so I'm not very far yet. Those of you who have finished City of Bones, are welcome to discuss and I don't mind spoilers. I was just wondered if it drags on in the middle or the best places to jump ahead to when I don't feel like following the chapter course.. emotion_yatta
...and don't tell me not to jump ahead. Some of the best books kept my interest by jumping ahead.

I can just say this, its not replacing the dot hack(.hack) universe either.
Otherwise the most I'll say for now is Magnus Bane bleeds win.
