Acanthite had been pursuing a light energy signature for several blocks, but she had not managed to catch sight of whoever it was before it vanished. Probably powered down. And of course she would have no way of knowing who that senshi was just looking at ordinary civilians.

Sometimes she wondered why that fact did not make Mayumi, her other self, more paranoid. But it was probably just as well.

Either way, there appeared to be no particular fights to be had this round of patrolling. It felt sort of lame going back to her dorm without anything to show for it, but Acanthite was not really eager to stay out too much later looking for trouble.

So she started heading back to Saint Magdalena's. By way of rooftops, of course, because why wouldn't someone want to do that?

On the way, though, the Senshi of the Cataract felt another energy signature nearby - fortunately a friendly one, and stronger than hers. She stumbled slightly as she stopped mid-roof to turn towards it, then, after a moment's consideration, decided to go see who it was. The more of her allies she knew by face, the better, right?
