Ok, other than the fact there was idiots throwing death menaces at her kids... If we take the fact she is leaving in itself, considering her past criticism of the combat in the original dragon age and all she accomplished (for the good and for the bad) do you consider it is a good riddance? Or a big lost? On my side I say good bye, good luck finding a new job, but make sure to throw away the key after leaving bioware...and don,t come back...She did her part but obviously seemed to have lost interest in the series...
(I just want to precise I am in no way approving the idea of sending death treaths to someone or to send death treaths to their children over anything, even less a video game...I simply am thinking that her depart is a good thing for bioware...they need fresh blood)

I don't know much about what part she played in the creation of Dragon Age II, how exactly she affected its development, but just judging by the fact that she's a senior writer, and I loved Dragon Age II, especially for it's characters, I think I might miss her. Not that I'm worried about DA:I, there are plenty of other writers, and plenty with enough talent to make DA:I just as amazing, if not more amazing than it's predecessors. But it is sad to see such talent leave, again, judging solely by the impression Dragon Age II's characters gave me.
On another note, it's terrible that she would receive death threats. Why is it that the internet is such a hotbed for hate? From the article, the only thing she appeared to say was that combat wasn't her favorite aspect in games, and that apparently warrants death threats? Where is the logic in this?

It doesn't affect me that much she was more of the "Voice of Dragon Age" she went to all of the conventions mentioning DA,but she also had a off beat tone in her words and actions.
Now if David left we all might have to have a mental break down since he's the one who has put the most work and basically wrote DA.

Yeah, I agree. She didn't have that fire in her anymore... If someone talented can come in, it will be good... But I sadly can see bioware becomes what Square (you, know, before it became squaresoft (it was still good then) then got bought by enix) has become...their main talents wanted more freedoms and while they gave us many great games from differents studios (Lost odyssey comes to mind) it never was the magic of the original team...and now the name final fantasy is only a money cow for S-Enix...EA might be messing with one of the best team on the market that bioware is and if too many leave the boat...we'll get a lot of generic paste and copy with good names on it...(ok, went off topic a bit, sorry there. lol)
As far as death menaces, seriously, people are really stupid to fall that low.
