Was it directing to him? There was only him around. He wasn't an error, he was himself, even though he didn't have any memories. He could simply have a new life of "Jaxa". " We did it, nice work dear! I am Jaxa!" First a sudden bear hug then crazy hand shaking of both hands up and down. He wanted to share his happiness with her, his "new" friend - Palem. He threw away his spear just to hug the ghoul. He felt like doing it.

So much of Palem seized up in that moment, when his arms went around her so intense like. Her blush seemed to radiate further from the tender action, but soon she came to settle and returned it. Because she felt like doing it too. It was nice.
