It was the usual order of business. They stalked what they intended to loot for gear and then they attacked.
He lunged at it as soon as he was sure Fayre was ready. There was an air of determination to his movements. If he killed enough of these things? He would become stronger. He could protect Fayre. Then maybe ...

Fayre came at the monster with the same fervor and excitement as she usually brought, but after she unloaded a round, or two, until she realized that Tiletk was quieter than usual. She put down her guns, and gave him a suspicious look. "... You sick?" That had to be the reason. OOC Character name: Fayre (Freya) Damage done: 8 CURRENT HP OF BOSS: 17 Current HP: 40/40 Special ability: Kings Regret: : If you KO, instead of dissipating, you restore yourself to half your existing HP. You can only use this ONCE per encounter. Once you have used it to revive, you cannot use any other abilities (weapon, species, special) period for the entire encounter, including any that double HP, etc etc. You can only auto attack after revival. Tiletk missed his next swing when she asked if he was sick. His body leaned out of the return attack from the monster, "I'm fine!" He offered her one of his usual grins.

Suddenly there was other people coming around and lending a hand. He smashed it down once it was pretty much on its final leg(s).
Then he stared at the one that had smiled at Fayre and asked if she needed his help. He saw you.

Thinking about stuff? She wanted to ask him what he was thinking about, but then others came to help, and she fell silent. She managed a big, friendly grin for each of them, but when one of them asked if she needed a hand, she looked at both of hers. "Only if you've got another gun to fill it!" Oh, she was just so funny. It was easy to miss the possessive look in Tiletk's eyes, but when he wrapped her arm around her waist, she stopped smiling at the helpers and looked up at him. ... He was definitely sick.

He was feeling at odds with what he wanted to behave versus how he felt.
The gave Fayre a glance and then seemed ominously quiet for a long moment. He gave Aeruban a glance and a small smile along with a nod. Though it was obvious he was more tan a little tense.
"I'm not sick," he said to Fayre quite firmly and simply as he read her glance. x2

Vassou noticed how Tiletk looked at him only when he'd ask a simple question. "Very true, hopefully we run into each other but not like this." He said before picking up his loot.
