Okay so being that we have to keep everyone on the same page (quite literally) we have devised a system for how long a day is, classes are and every time of day. Before I start if you get lost or have questions please feel free to ask Under the Q/A subforum or to look under the "F.A.Q" in the same subforum, we prefer you look at the F.A.Q before you ask any questions so we don't have to answer the same question 50 times. So here we go, please bare with me and read the whole thing before deciding you don't understand, thank you.
To start we will say how long each piece is.
Classes= 5 Pages
Mornings= 10 Pages
Lunches= 10 Pages
Dinner= 10 Pages
Evenings= 10 Pages
Nights= 10 Pages
Now when these things start.
There are breaks between classes, lunch, dinner from 8:30 A.M-9:05 A.M, 11:00 A.M-12:00 P.M, 1:30 P.M-2:05 P.M and 4:00 P.M-7:00
Morning is from 12:00 A.M-11:00 A.M (this overlaps a class, class rules time change)
Breakfast is from 6:00 A.M-8:30 A.M
Classes are from 9:05 A.M till 4:00 P.M, There is a Lunch between Lecture 2 and Lecture 3. Lectures= Classes.
Noon is from 11:00 A.M-4:00 P.M (Overlaps classes and Lunch both of which rule the time change)
Lunch is from 12:00 P.M-1:30 P.M
Evening is from 4:00 P.M-7:00 P.M
Dinner is from 7:00 P.M-9:00 P.M
Night is from 9:00 P.M-12:00 A.M
If that just confused you bare with me this may help.
Okay so mornings are 10 pages thus from 12:00 A.M-6:00 A.M will be 10 pages. From 6:00 A.M-8:30 A.M is 10 pages since it is breakfast. 8:30 A.M-9:05 is 5 pages. Lecture one which if from 9:05 A.M-10:00 A.M is 5 pages, Lecture 2 which is from 10:05 A.M-11:00 A.M is also 5 pages. There is now an hour break until lunch which will also be 5 pages. Lunch begins at 12:00 P.M and is until 1:30 P.M which will consist of 10 pages. After lunch is a half hour break which will be 5 pages. Lecture 3 is from 2:05 P.M-3:00 P.M and will be 5 pages long, Lecture 4 which is from 3:05 P.M-4:00 P.M is also 5 pages. After Lecture 4 is the beginning of the Evening which ends at the start of dinner which is 7:00 P.M and will consist of 10 pages. Dinner is from 7:00 P.M-9:00 P.M also 10 pages. Once Dinner s over Night begins which is from 9:00 P.M-12:00 A.M and will be 10 pages as well. After the 10th page it will start over with Morning again.
Weekends:
Weekends will work the same way except the classes are Electives so only 3rd Years and above have to attend classes than. Thus if you don't have classes you can do whatever you would like, just be aware when the time changes!
Quidditch Practices:
These can be held during Mornings, Evenings, Nights or anytime on the weekends but will only be 5 pages long. They cannot be held during Lunch since it is only 5 pages long, nor can they be held curing class times or the short breaks between classes.
Shops:
Shops can be open at anytime the owner wishes them to be so make sure to check the shop Hours before posting that you are there since it could be closed. Shops hours run on the universal system meaning that once a main location has gone 5 or 10 pages it will also change the shops time.
Time Changes:
The time change is determined by whichever thread is the most active. Thus whichever class is most active is the class that will determine when the other classes end. Same for the locations threads whichever one of those is most active changes the time whether it be a morning, breakfast, break, lunch, evening, dinner, or night. This is to make sure the entire Guild is on the same day and time. Now I know people are on at different time and may not post as much or quick as some people but this is the only system we could come up with that we believed would work the best.
