The view from the highest point in my fortress, the top of one of three giant jungle tree on top of my throne room, looking over the outer wall, my herd of cattle, sugar church, corrupted mushroom zone, and uberfarm.
Most of the herd is invisible. They have basically no room within that wall made entirely of wheat.
The area in between the wheat enclosure and the church is an area I plan to turn into a chicken coop.
Yes there are giant mushrooms on my fortress. We don't clean very often.

All in hardcore mode. Oh damn if that all disappeared.

Lately I've been addicted to modpacks, particularly Hexxit. My fortress has barely even been started. Started with only a three by three shack that was abandoned. Now it's got more walls...but nothing in it except a twilight forest portal.

I dun wanna use mods.
Only one that interested me was Mystcraft. Which ended up not being as awesome as I imagined because, while the worlds it could make were really interesting, they lagged like a b***h.
A void filled with nothing but tendrils of stone and dirt is cool, but the massive amount of surface area will kill your comp.

Want aether 2 to come out do.

I completely agree about Mystcraft. My brother is addicted to it, but it is just way to slow, and a little bit "pointless" for me. The other worlds were nice and some looked cool, but no practical uses most times.

I haven't been on in a while, been working. But the only mod I ever really cared for was Tekkit. But that is my engineer inside me talking. Before I got to busy, all I found myself doing was being "hired" by people on our server to build redstone contraptions of all sorts. I still haven't gotten around to anywhere near finishing my own fortress, mansion. I get distracted with all the terraforming and redstone to build. >.<

I've started playing with super hostile survival maps. High places on tight rope edges and skeletons don't mix.
PostPosted: Tue Sep 03, 2013 6:32 pm

I know that feeling.
Recently made a sky fortress with tons of narrow beams. Skeletons made it unbearable at night.
But it won't be long until I've completed it. The Mycelium is growing at a good pace, the ring of doors is in place, and I've got the two villagers ready to send to it. Just gotta make a rail track through the nether and set up a door so that the villagers don't wander back into the portal when I get them there.

Yeah, though the Zistonian battlesigns help quite a bit. They might not do a lot of damage, but they're really good for sweeping enemies off of ledges and into the endless abyss.

As do bows.

Though I ended up just knocking them onto different beams most of the time. Having a knockback+2 enchantment is really nice until you only want to knock the mobs one block back to their deaths.

Yes, the problem with organized structures.

Sky fortress.

Not finished, mostly because Mycellium takes a while to grow. There will be more mushrooms on the lower level.

I really want to after finishing Infernal skies, load up a new copy of it and hack it into creative mode just so I can admire the work vechs put into it as well as see any of the things I may have missed due to explosions destroying it.
