I never believed in love at first sight. Until I saw...her.
I've seen her portrait many times before. I've seen her in crowds, speaking to her people. Never before, have I seen her true beauty until now. Rage burned deep inside her eyes. Power radiated from her body. She spat those two words that proved she was just like me.
Human.

Just going by this little snippet I can tell that it would probably definitely be something I'd at least look into reading. Is there any particular direction you're planning to take it, and do you have any specific character appearances and names for the pov and the girl described in the thing, or is this just a thing that popped into your head and you had to jot down?
Anywho, disregarding my silly inquiries and assuming it's just a thing you just had to jot down and going with what I assume you must have posted it here for...? ...I'm not sure what to make of the very first line which complicates the idea a tiny bit I think, but perhaps the POV character has idolized this girl all this time and those 'two words' she uttered sort of shattered the pedestal they put her on, and made them realize how truly beautiful she is? I dunno, something along those lines. Perhaps they're in a sticky situation and this girl is standing for the both of them in some way or form.
There are all sorts of possibilities of course, I think, depending on the direction taken... But this is just what I can make of it, and what I make of short little scenes like this is usually not very reliable. xd Not to mention, as demonstrated, apt to ignore some parts that don't fit into the bigger picture... But hey, that's what suggesting and brainstorming is for, and it's just a direction I could see anyhow. It's your thing! (I keep saying "thing" so much oops, weh.)

Its just something I had to jot down lol Well, he's never really looked at her. He would glance and scoff. I'm thinking she is either a Queen or a Princess about to take the throne. He did something naughty and his life now hangs her hands. I have no idea what I want to do with it.
