These rules should be pretty basic and easy to follow, so let's get formalities out of the way and get these over with.

1. Please follow Gaia's rules and ToS. If you have been on Gaia for more than a day, you know them so just follow them.

2. If there is a hot and steamy scene between characters, just fade to black or time skip. Do not post it in the threads. If you want to continue it in your PMs, that is on you. Just no details here.

3. NO GOD MODING!!!!! God Moding here is including but not limited to:
*Having your character drag another character around unless their controller approves it.
*Auto-hitting another character every time. Just ask if it's okay to knock another character out before you do.
*Do not write everyone's reaction to it. You don't know what the characters of another person are thinking. A good example of what to avoid is "So and so walked into the room, commanding everyone's attention." Okay, why? A better version would be, "So and so slammed the door and sent a glare to all of the people around them. With a slight stomp of each step, they made their way to the other side of the room, scraped a chair noisily along the tile floor, and plopped down in the chair, causing it to rattle and make more noise than necessary." See? Isn't that better?
*Omniscient. It means sensing something and everything when there's no reason for you to. A good example of this is causing your character to have their twin powers activate if they think their friend or whatever is in a fight even though your character is on the first floor and the fight is on the roof 6 stories above. No. Now, what you can do is say that something seems a little off IF your characters were supposed to meet up somewhere and the other member of the group is AFK. If there is a loud crash or someone yelling from another room and you are close enough to hear it, it is okay to investigate.

4.In the event of a fight breaking out: Let us keep to something that makes sense and is logical. We won't roll die, there's no "You win if you type more", and there is no magic or summoning a grenade out of no where. Use your environment. If someone pulls out a kitchen knife that they stole from the kitchen, then that makes more sense than suddenly your character has a pocket knife that wasn't there before. Also, logic dictates that the 5' nothing girl who weighs 85 pounds can't hope to out punch the nearly 7 foot gang leader weighing a hefty 235 pounds. Pick you fights wisely. If you think it is getting to be unfair, talk it out in the OOC. If that cannot resolve anything, a staff member will step in, evaluate, and pick who should win this fight.
Of course, in a peaceful place like this, there is no cause to fight, right?

5. Let us be semi-literate to literate guys. What I'm asking for is that when a character says, "Hello", it is in quotation marks. No actions are in *these things*, and that we write paragraphs like we are writing a story. That said, let us attempt at least one paragraph per post if possible. This means a minimum of 5 sentences, non-run on. AND PUNCTUATION!!!

6. Two characters maximum, but attempt to use one if possible. The more people we can include, the better. We are limited to having 15 characters, so it might be unfair if someone has 3 characters while someone wants to join but can't.

7. Our school had a Headmaster. This mule account will post whenever something of importance happens. Look out for this guy or girl! They are VERY important to your life here at Hope's Peak Academy!

8. If you don't know what game or anime this is based off of, that is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, we encourage you not try to find out in order to keep this more of a surprise for when things begin to happen. However, that doesn't mean you aren't allowed to look for answers yourself if you are curious.

9. The map. There is no excuse not to know where your character is located, and that includes in the hall ways. Why? Each room is its own sub forum. Each subforum has a map that has even been colored so that you know where the heck you are. THERE ARE NO EXCUSES! This roleplay is technically large, and people will move around a lot, especially during events. Pay attention to where you are and where others are in order to guarantee a plot that makes sense.

10. Post formats: just don't get too crazy with them. M'kay? Also, try to pick colors that aren't hard to read if that is what you plan to write your actions and dialog in. No one wants to highlight or quote you to read what you wrote, okay?
*On a side note, keep OOC conversation separate from the rest of the post. It can still be in the post if needed, just make sure it is in a designated spot at the bottom of the post.

11. Swearing is acceptable, but please respect others. Also, don't make every other word a cuss word unless your character is really just that extremely upset. These are high schoolers, so it makes sense if the occasional cuss word slips out.

12. Check back here for more rules as they can be added and edited as needed. Thank you~!
