Isidore wandered through the Pantheon hallway with Scim at his heels, the dog's tail was wagging happily as he followed his master, pausing now and again to sniff things then running to catch him up.

The young god was on a bit of a mission, looking for one door in particular. He had not been there too often, not for a while but he was sure he knew what he was looking for.

When he found it he stopped and knocked hard with his small, pale hand, hoping that his Aunt would be in.

The knock came as a surprise. Not many knocked on this specific door, anymore - not ever since the lady had left, at any rate. Still, he came in every now and then, to make sure it was at least kept clean. It seemed a shame to simply let it all fall into disuse, and even without the ability to change it too drastically, he thought that maybe someone else might find use with it again - be it his lady herself once the pain lessened, or the young lord should he one day need space without bothering his lovers unduly.

Or perhaps, he could only wish, the other two young lord and lady... though that seemed more and more impossible as days passed.

He would open the door, expecting yet another of the divine or a mortal follower coming to ask of Underworld's wereabouts. Instead, a small little face looked up at him, followed by what was a quite large dog. It took a moment for Concerto to place exactly who this was. That was Lady Cosine's son, was it not ?

"Hello." He would say. "Did you come looking for your aunt, little one ?"

Isidore looked up as the door was opened and smiled at the aoidei that answered.
"yes, I'm looking for Auntie Echo, is she home?" He asked innocently, this was the place he associated with his aunt so he had no idea that she might not be there. If she wasn't then he was sure he would be able to find her ... maybe. Scim could help, he was a dog, they helped find things.

"She hasn't been here for quite a bit." Concerto would nod. "Though I know where she is, and I am certain she will be happy to see you."

Why should his lady not be ? He would close the door behind him and lead Isidore to a rather familiar closet. Concerto would open the door and then lead the young god inside.

Echo would be easy enough to find - she tended to be found in the gardens unless she was spending time with Eilaer. Now that they had settled well enough, she was starting to think about a temple and all that such a thing entailed. This was how Isidore would find her, sitting in the long grass and flowers, her skirt pooling around her form, studying a map that laid there.

"Oh Taj!" Isidore grinned as they approached the familiar door, he knew these rooms fairly well. Perhaps not as well as his sister did but still. He smiled as he was led to the garden. He liked gardens, they were fun places and he was very happy to see his aunt sat there, looking down at something. She looked very pretty, just like his mother.
"Auntie Echo!" He called out as he made his way through the grass, Scim following on after him. "Here you are. I was looking for you at the other place."

"Isidore !" She would open her arms for a hug. It had honestly been such a long time since she had seen him, or his sisters. "How are you ?"

As for the mention of the other place... "Well, I am usually here, if you need to seek me out again later on." He had been lucky that Concerto had been there, even.

Isidore walked over to his aunt and gave her a tight hug, she was warm and smelled like flowers.
"You live here with Taj and Kios?" he asked with a smile, lots of people seemed to live in the rooms of mystery, then again they were vast with mazes and grottos and a library and these gardens.
"I'm fine." He said, flopping down next to him. "Oh! This is Scimitar." He introduced his companion who was stood wagging his tail happily. "He's a Grim, they guard graves and burial places, but he got injured when he was a puppy so he's my bestest friend now. How are you?"

Honestly it was so hard to keep things straight sometimes, especially things that had happened before grief had nearly overtaken her. She had been so lost in her own pain that Music had indeed lost track of many things.

Now, however, such was not the case.

"Why, hello Scimitar. Not such a puppy now, are we ?" The beast was about as big as Isidore himself was. She would hold her hand forward so that he could get a good sniff before she attempted to pet him. "I am quite well now, thank you."

Isidore watched Scim go to her. He loved being petted, and due to the three terrors he lived with was quite used to being poked, prodded and dressed up in silly costumes.

"Good." Isi replied as she said she was good. He didn't like it when his family were not happy and well. "I have a question for you." he rambled. "Mama and dad are busy so I can't really ask them." It was mostly true. "Can you have funerals for more than one person?" He asked. "I've been researching different ones but all the ones I've seen are for one person."

Isidore's question gave her pause. She knew those kind of questions very well. They usually meant trouble, especially if his parents were unaware of what they were up to. "There can be. People who loved each other, or families, are often laid to rest together if they died at the same time. Or if there is so many to deal with that making one ceremony for all of them would take much too long." It was more respectful than having families wait for months, at least in her mind.

Well that made plenty of sense to Isidore. One ceremony for several people. he picked at the grass infront of him and tried to picture what they were planning, there was just one problem though, they didn't really know who they were holding a ceremony for, there wasn't strictly a body. It was just spirits. Random spirits. He would look back up at his Aunt.
"what if there is no body, can you still have a funeral?"

"I raised your cousin, you know. I know these questions have a purpose." He would be hard-pressed to pull a fast one on her, honestly.

How did they do it? His mother was like that too, it didn't take much for her to catch on when they were up to something. If she hadn't been so distracted recently she might have noticed they were plotting.
"Um." Isi said softly, looking down at the grass. He didn't want to be the one who got caught and ruined everything. "I was just wondering you know, there are lots of people who have lost people round here. I see them all the time and I was just wondering if I could do something to help, maybe a funeral so they can move on?"

Busted.

Isidore did look up at his aunt then, into her eyes and frowned.
“It’s true. I want to help them.” He said, before he was born lots of people had died and families had not been able to grieve for their loved ones, they had not dared to. He sighed.
“I need to help my dad. He can’t do everything by himself and I want to help him and the mortals too. They believe that funerals help souls move on, maybe it’s true, maybe if I can hold a funeral for the souls then they can move on and dad won’t have to worry any more about having to be away so much and not getting to be with us.” He reached out to pet Scim who was now lying next to him. “Everyone is so unhappy recently. I want to help make it better.”
