Personality: Overly cheerful and enthusiastic, Mitsuko does not seem to fully understand the concept of being sad for any amount of time unless death is involved. However, she cries easily and tends to cling to those larger than herself due to both being so small and frail and for reasons she does not like to discuss unless she can trust someone-- which, earning her trust generally is not a difficult thing to do. She has a bad habit of drawing or painting on white walls, which was something her parents never discouraged her from and, in fact, would then repaint the walls white so she could do it all over again. Her artistic nature makes her a bit adventurous by nature, so it is advised not to eat anything she makes since she cannot cook to save her life. (Yet, somehow, she manages to stomach everything she makes and almost always finds it delicious.)
Bio: Mitsuko grew up in a relatively loving family. Her mother was a doctor and her father was an author for several well-known books. Due to her mother's busy schedule though, she generally spent more time with her father. Growing up, Mitsuko took a love of drawing and generally did her best to stick to drawing doodles on paper. However, if she ran out of paper, she would grow frustrated and pout until more was supplied. If that were not accomplished fast enough, the walls would suffer the consequences. Her mother, being a doctor, insisted that all of the walls in the house be pure white. Mitsuko, on the other hand, was annoyed by the plainness of the house and would take to deliberately adding her own form of "graffiti" to the walls. The first time it happened, her parents were about to scold her when they realized that what she had done was actually rather beautiful. At that point, she was only five.
As she grew older, Mitsuko was supplied with more mediums to use for her art and more surfaces to paint and draw on. If she finished a painting, she would take it to her parents for them to look over. Sometimes her loving parents would frame her work and put it on their walls. More often, though, they took them to museums where they were admired and often times bought by the populace. Before entering her first year of high school, Mitsuko had sold nearly a thousand unique painting, several hundred prints, and earned nearly a million dollars from her paintings alone. Stil, her love of painting on the walls never faded away and, to this day, she gets fussed at by her teachers when they find her drawings taking up the entire black board or a doodle on one of the desks or walls she was sitting near or at.
She decided to go to Hope's Peak Academy since, lately she feels her art is no longer of the quality she wants it to be at and is going through what she feels is an artistic block. She hopes that by coming to the school, she can once more find the love and spark that caused her to begin life as an artist in the first place.
